Club Seats Grille — Restaurant in Hilton Head Island

We happened upon Club Seats as we were searching for a place to get dinner that would have televisions showing the night’s NBA playoff game. We didn’t realize that it would be such a classic sports bar, so we had our kids in the tow. There were 8 of us total, so seating inside wasn’t a great option as most of the tables inside were taller four-tops. We found a suitable spot outside on the deck near the bar, but no high chairs were available for us. There was a lady cursing pretty loudly in casual conversation with her companion, so again… wasn’t the best having our kids in ear-shot. But, then…

The bartender that waited on us was helpful and friendly. Our Grouper Bites appetizer was amazing! I ordered the Watson Grilled Cheese with onion rings, and I really enjoyed the flavor of the horseradish cheddar (although I am not typically a horseradish person). My husband’s Ribeye Calzone was huge and packed with flavor. My parents shared a heaping helping of Stir Fry that had a yummy rue. Each item came out hot and fresh from...

First timers..we stumbled upon this bar looking for a "Happy Hour" As we walked in the server behind the bar approached us as a woman in the back is yelling something to her. She explained that it was trivia night and all the tables were reserved at 6pm. It was 4:30. We didn't have a problem as we said we would be gone by then. The server btw was phenomenal. We thought we found a new hangout. For the next 30 minutes we listen to April tell everybody that they couldn't stay because of trivia night. A gentleman at the bar who was having a drink waiting for his takeout became annoyed as he explained to her that he was just having a cocktail while he was waiting. So now there's a changing of shifts..our server leaves and April takes over. At first she was attentive but not very friendly. Forward to the end of our dinner. We are forgotten. We asked a new server for our check and left without notice. Good food,cheap drinks,great servers..cranky bar manager.

We'll be back but hopefully not on...

My wife and I are from the Cleveland Ohio area visiting Hilton head, we love the fact that this establishment is run by folks from happy Valley, a.k.a. Pennsylvania, it’s got a good feel for home as we are from Cleveland

My wife and I came in third place and their trivia contest which allowed us to get a $15 gift card. We did very well against all the locals, my wife decided to get a massage and I decided to bike down there and enjoy the $15 gift card which I did a few days later I ordered some fish. I got some shrimp. The waitress offered to give me the shrimp for free because they meant to make fish, I let her know. I was just trying to use this gift card that we had won a few nights before. We laughed.

People are really nice really kind of midwestern, the food is good , at a really good price and they have fun games there highly highly highly highly recommend stopping at this place, If you’re visiting. Good people!
