The worse restaurant in SC. Nasty, unsanitary, dirty staff, racist, nasty waiter, unprofessional nasty owner. My family attempted to dine here on vacation. And we regretted it as quick as we walked in. Food came out by a waiter that looked like they pulled him from the streets. Instantly hair was spotted in my grand daughters macaroni, blonde hair which I have to clarify because the nasty unprofessional manger and staff tried their best to act dumb like the hair could've came from a group of black and brunette haired members of my family, yeah right sorry that didn't work. So 1st the issue with the hair was brought to the waiters attention as she seemed not to be the brightest in the shed, her instant response was to proclaim that the chef was ball, lol comical. Then we asked to speak with the owner nick he comes out and we clearly and quickly understand why the staff look and act like the were pulled from the street corner. Nick proceeds to try and use the same dumb excuse for the HAIR in the macaroni as the incompetent waiter, stating that the chef is ball again comical. We proceeded to give the owner a much needed lesson in hair color as well as the proper way to run a restaurant and resolve a safety issue when a customer finds HAIR in their food from a member of Nick's unsanitary staff. The experience was mind blowing in the way that instead of the owner being a professional and stating he was sorry that hair was in the food and that he would check his staff and make sure that it doesn't happen again instead he tried to deflect and point the blame on the customers who again had no one in our party with blonde hair. But nick definitely had a dirty male waiter with blonde hair who brought out the unsanitary macaroni with the hair in it. The food was all nasty, tea nasty taste like dish soap. Restaurant is really a 1 star establishment and that's why the parking lot was empty when we pulled in but we still tried to give them a chance but they blew that quick. I Wouldn't recommend this place to my worse...
Read moreLet me start of with the fact with my daughter took me with her on a short weekend vacation ,and i have not been on one in over 14 years so this was such a treat. The server out front was our waiter too so he was busy but knew his stuff and was kind as he could be. Helped with the ordering to make things at our 4 seat table(with baby) convenient and helped with taking time to explain what all the adds were(instead of just the regular veggies). We got the down south duo it was Fantastic! ,we also got a huge plate of just breaded shrimp that tasted like the boat had just pulled up to the kitchen and dropped them off to the chef ,lol. The flounder was fresh and flaked right off and melted in your mouth (and this was coming from a daughter that is a chicken and fries all day girl) so i was impressed to say the least. The steak was the only thing that was a little tougher than her liking but she had her seafood with it and made do so we were happy as could be ,and the baby got her noodles with some parmesan sauce and she was messy faced and full of smiles too. Our waiter came around and took care of us throughout the evening and made the dining delightful. With everything going on around the state, U.S., with this pandemic it was really nice to go out for the evening to a top drawer restaurant and get treated to superb food by excellent chefs (thank you by the way) and to have a great waiter take care of you step by step from the minute you got there till you left. Now i know this is a long one but like i said it's been 14 years and this food was worth every minute. So to the owner sir, thank you for taking the extra steps to do what was needed to keep your establishment open and thriving, i hope that this helps in some way towards what that night meant to me and my family in our small lives and the lasting memories we now have. Thank you so...
Read moreThe restaurant was great. Atmosphere was really good and relaxing. Our servers name was Kirsten, and she did exceptionally well.
Appetizer was hush puppies with honey butter. They were delicious!
There was a plus one in my party. I had a filet, green beans, and mashed potatoes. My plus one had a filet, broccoli and French fries. A Caesar salad each.
Alcoholic drinks which consisted of an old fashion, tequila sunrise and a house drink.
I will say the drinks lacked a little bit of alcohol with the extra’s to make them for what they are called which could be by the drinkers taste pallate.
Indoor and outdoor seating. I would make a reservation. We went on New Year’s Eve though and was able to get a table quickly and be seated with our reservation at 1800 hours est.
Host was very helpful and friendly. Getting us seated then told us where the restrooms were located and I thought to be a great addition upon being seated for most people always need to go to the restroom. Restroom was clean.
When looking at the photos keep in mind I forgot to take photos midway so food might look partially gone or disturbed.
Our meal was $150 which included tip and 4-5 drinks overall. The drinks not straight but...
