Burger King — Restaurant in Hinesville

Upon entering the burger king the first time, my wife was mistreated by two employees, she was stared at and laughed at, and made to feel not welcome.

Following this experience, I contacted customer service through the main Burger-King website, and was swiftly contacted by the manager of this branch, myself and my wife were given an apology by Theresa (the manager), and also a free meal.

It was a gesture of good-will, I accepted it on behalf of my wife, as I was only in the US for a short amount of time and didn't want to make a big issue of the events, but it was definitely not acceptable.

I appreciate the apology from Theresa (manager) and sincerely hope that the two employees do learn that they are in an industry of service, in which, abusing or harassing customers is not tolerated.

The burger king itself is nice, it is ample with an open-type atmosphere, with large windows allowing for lots of light to flood in, giving the appearance of a nice spacious area for eating.

There are a mixture of seats and booths and a self serve soda machine.

The food itself, is filling and scrumptious, it had my taste buds dancing joyous song of victory, and my stomach was subdued after I decimated the burger, not only before taking a few of my wife's fries too.

The expense for this lavish delicacy? $20 for two large-sized impossible burger meals.

If you're a green bean, ask for them to be cooked on a separate grill.

(the food would have had it receive a higher rating, as well as the atmosphere/restaurant, but it was let down by the employees).

All-in-All, potential to be a 10/10 knockout place, but ruined by the bitter taste of a couple of employees who didn't have to be...

So I've never had issues at this burger King, however, being that I have been in food service for over 20 years and also am a certified manager, I want to say the cleanliness and mannerisms at that store tonight and the other day when I was there is one thing that makes me unsatisfied as a customer. Food temp is a huge thing that can make people sick if not properly kept. I seen many containers of vegetables (all of which should be in a cooler at 41* or colder) were at room temp. Tonight while in the drive thru at 1030pm no one answered and online says they are open till 11pm. I drove around and the 1st window was open and a young gentleman was there. I asked if anyone was running the drive thru and taking orders. He said we only take mobile orders at this time. I only ask why and he said well we only take mobile orders and you can call corporate if you want. I told him I wasn't giving him a hard time and I wasn't upset, and he did not need to be that way with me. He then said I'm not being mean. He said well everyone comes through here and makes a big deal so I tell everyone to just call corporate. Coming from a manager stand point that if one of my employees were to act that way I would be having a conversation with them. I understand if I was rude that he act that way but I simply asked if anyone was taking orders and I received a very poor response....

I was waited on within a minute of going through the doors. I went during National Cheeseburger Day Sept 18th. Surprisingly the dining room wasn't busy considering the special. The grounds and the building is in quite a need of an update. My cheeseburger tasted like it was a free cheeseburger. The bread was partially stale,and the burger slightly warm at best. There was no mustard or ketchup on my burger. The photos that are advertised for this day showed more toppings other than cheese and pickles. I'll give them another shot on another day when there isn't a special promotion going on. UPDATE-Went inside yo pick up a dine in order. Wasn't greeted,only a can I help you with attitude. Mentioned why I was there. My food was brought to the counter. I asked for napkins, in a rude tone of voice,she replied, they're in the bag. I said ok,thank you. She just walked away. You could hire People who have good personalities and are polite. The windows in the dining room are quite dirty and hard to see out of. My Bacon melt came with no onions,although it was advertised with caramelized onions.Although good,only one side of my sandwich was toasted. The cheese Tots were good fries were good. I'll travel to another location before visiting this one again.Poor service,less than decent...
