A group of friends come out for fellowship, some enjoying dinner and others dinner and/or drinks, exchanging laughs over the course of 2.5 hours who are well taken care of by their server Mattie, pregnant, yet jolly and friendly and the bartender who we just called Poncho who took care of everyone who obliged are enthused about their evening out until Diane] comes in.

[Diane] gets a table of two, an elderly couple. She leaves her table while we're laughing and enjoying the experience to tell us to "lower our voices because she can't hear her guests" who are far enough away from us to not be distracted by us.

Rather than going to the side of their table where she'd be within ear shot of her guests, [Diane] is on the far side of their table taking an order.... then when we're talking amongst ourselves, she approaches our table again, as to "check" us for continuing our conversation.

Now, I don't know if: We were just that loud that all of a sudden it had become a problem

The elderly [white] couple had an issue with hearing [Diane had an issue with hearing the couple

[Diane] just came in wanting the [black ppl] to shut up so she could better serve her table, from the far side of their table.

I'm tripping

But PONCHO, [Diane] outchea messing up for Mattie, who is prego, doing an incredible job with us..... we spent close to $400 in less than 2 hours and she come over to our table telling us to shut up.

The customer service in this restaurant sucks. We were waiting for a good 10m before a waitress even acknowledged we were sitting there. While other wait staff just hung out laughing and playing around. After looking at the menu, we decided that we were going to go somewhere else. Rather than just walking out, we waited for the waitress to return to the table. After telling her we decided not to order anything she got nasty and started asking questions about why and what the reason was. We told her we changed our mind and wanted something different. She says they have different foods too. After going back and forth and trying to be nice, I told her that we could've just walked out but I was trying to be nice. She says Have a nice day and just walks away. Absolutely loved this place! Our big family was seated quickly after friendly faces greeted us. The horchata was a must try! I really loved it! I also enjoyed the big frosty mug it came in. We ordered a large queso with our chips. The kids loved it and ate it while waiting for our meals. The kid plates were all generous sizes! I ordered a combo platter. The tamale was good and the chile releno was one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating. My other hand ordered the birria pizza. It was really good but the consumé was not what we expected. It was a huge letdown. It was more like a bowl of orange grease. The server was awesome and the bill was average for our family!
