The manager, (Michael Herrington I believe is the name) was very rude via telephone upon our phone conversation. I placed an online order to be picked up at 6:00pm. I called to make a minor adjustment to my order and he informed me at 5:30pm, my order was already done and could not be adjusted. I specifically placed my order for 6:00pm so It would be done closer to that time and not 30 minutes before, meaning that it will just be sitting for 30 minutes. The purpose of making my pick up time 6:00pm was to avoid my food from just sitting. I nicely asked why my order was done 30 minutes early if I specifically stated that it will be picked up at 6:00pm. He stated, "We are backed up and short on drivers, and even though its not your problem, I'm still letting you know". I kindly asked my Herrington to reconsider adjusting my order, seeing that I am a loyal paying customer and he told me no. I understand there is a procedure that must be followed, however, this manger was not costumer service oriented at all and lacked all fields of trying to contain my business. I then asked for a corporate number and he informed me there is no corporate office and that the store is franchise. I understand that concept, as I have worked for a franchise business in the past, but upon telling me that, he laughed over the phone like the situation was funny to him. No care in the world. Read moreWhy are all the Marcos in GA terrible. This is the second time I have ordered from Marco’s. Once in Richmond Hill, and now in Hinesville, where we live. From the Hinesville store: I ordered a pizza at 6:14. The email confirmation gave me a “promise” time of 6:44. Eventually, at 7:13, I received another email saying it’s “on the way”. 7:33 rolls around, pizza still not here. Called the store and they tell me “well the driver is on the way and should be there soon” and then just hung up. Didn’t receive the order until 7:58 and the food was soggy and not hot anymore. If it’s going to be a long wait, then u should really update your app to reflect it. Or at least call the customer to let them know or have better customer service on the phone. If I didn’t already pay online and starving, we would have just canceled it. I read the reviews and it looks like the owner is responding to bad ones to hopefully make things better, so I gave the benefit of the doubt. But it clearly has not been getting better and it doesn’t matter how many bad reviews they get, they don’t change anything. We just moved here and will be finding different pizza places then this one. Read moreI was enamored with this entire experience with Marco's Pizza. I had no issues while placing my specialty items order. Other places always give me issues when just adding extra sauce. It is ironic because we order from Marco's at least 5 to 7 times a month, but we almost decided to try another pizza place. Ha,I think not. The other place didn't even answer the phone and when they did I couldn't tell if they were talking to me or someone else. When I called my favorite place, Marco's Pizza they promptly answered with a warm and pleasant greeting. The person who took my order was very knowledgeable and ready to assist with me with ordering and using my coupon. He even greeting me by my name, which made it a friendlier experience. I never have had such an enjoyable experience in my 40 year Pizza eating life. When I went to pick it up in the accurate quoted time. I was promptly greeted with a warm smile. I had no issues at the curbside pickup and was given plates and napkins. Once home with my pizza, the family was able to enjoy hot, delicious, perfect topped speciality pizza.
