Sawadee Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Hinesville

My name is Damiana Loehnert I am a server at Sawadee Thai cuisine (you can look at all the older reviews . I am making a review because of a comment I seen bashing our establishment, Renee Jenkins comment was 100% untrue . We have a A rated sanitation grade , and do run our business with nothing but the highest standards in mind. Sometimes things happen but one thing that doesn’t is reusing food. If a customer brings back food it goes in the trash and we remake it . There are no rats inside our establishment , if there was we wouldn’t be open. Our owner takes pride in this business as well as myself and other staff members . Our establishment is clean & we take pride in our customers and our service and quality of our food & cleanliness of the establishment. This person was recently terminated from the position given and is now upset and trying to harm our business with bashful comments that are far from untrue . Slandering our business and the integrity of our owner, who by the way is in this establishment every day . Please do not listen to the here say from a individual who hasn’t even worked here for a week . Come seek the sawadee Thai cuisine experience for yourselves and you will see, not only is our establishment clean, but the staff are friendly , polite , and educated on Thai cuisine . Stop...

I reviewed this place a few months ago but it looks like they deleted and re-added their account to remove their negative reviews. Not only is this not a good Thai restaurant, it's not a good restaurant by any stretch. I would eat at Checker's in Hinesville before I ate here again. Came in for the first time (and last) with a group and the manager was aggressively pushing the buffet, calling it...and I quote, "PHENOMENAL". Well, he was wrong. There wasn't one thing on the buffet that I liked. In fact, I hated everything. It was a waste of money. I have no idea how to cook Thai food, but know for a fact that I could do a better job. If I'd gone in and the manager said nothing and I didn't like it, that would be different. In this case, the manager TOLD us that it was PHENOMENAL...so I at least expected it to be edible. When asked how our meal was before we left, one of my friends told him that he really didn't like the Pad Thai (which was on the buffet). very good Thai curry in hinesville. it is not too expensive and the portion seems just right . the waitress was very friendly. service was good and quick. update: we were there again a few days ago. it was a very disappointing experience. maybe I haven't noticed before but it seems they now nickel and dime the customer to death. there is an extra charge for meats on lots of the items. the beef soup promised meatballs or fish balls. it came with neither. there would have been an extra charge for them (no mention about it in the menu) there was a little beef in the soup but as we got the bill there was a charge for that. again, no mention of it in the menu and we were not told about it. the siam chicken must have been overcooked. it was super dry. also some of the appetizers were a very dark brown. not burned but also not golden brown. and then there is the 10% "service charge".
