Food is fine, it’s the evening staff and atmosphere that’s awful. The wait times are really out of hand, doesn’t matter if you’re picking up a personal order or trying to door dash your wait will be at least half an hour. Tonight was a pushing point for me as a door dasher; I waited over an hour for my order that was only asking for a Cobb salad. While waiting for a simple salad I witnessed the shift leader/manager (one in a grey uniform shirt.) immediately walked in and start cutting staff fr their breaks (good for the staff not good for the lobby full of people waiting) proceeded by promptly leaning against the make line in front of the register with multiple employees watching tik Tok videos (multiple minutes worth of just scrolling.) when I asked for a simple eta for a SALAD the cashier wasn’t able to provide anything. I made the mistake for accepting a second order while waiting for the salad (I’m already there waiting might as well capitalize my time and gas and it was only about 2 minutes into waiting for the first order) and it was able to be completed before the salad was ever done. By the time the Cobb salad was made BOTH order’s canceled. The atmosphere very much gives immature and low work quality, I get it being late and being tired but you still have to maintain some kind of standard. It should also be said I was not the only one waiting, at one point there was nearly 10 other people waiting just as long just in the lobby alone. The kitchen staff seemed like they were trying just need more hands, where the “front of house” staff/CSRs where there to mostly gossip and hang out. I almost never write bad reviews but if you are looking for a quick bite or to make quick money thru a delivery service AVOID...
Read moreWe arrived at the store at 9:50 to pick up a Doordash order for a customer. There was a LONG line of people at the counter with only 1 person working the counter. There was a female employee standing in the corner behind the counter playing on her cell phone, not even bothering to try and help. There was a customer waiting for his food for over 15 minutes, before finding out that his food was sitting on the counter the whole time. When asked why he wasn't told and if his food was cold, the one girl working the counter tapped on the bag and said with an attitude "it's still hot". The one girl working the counter did not even acknowledge my husband at all, who had been waiting in the line for a while to pick up a doordash. By this time, we have already had our fill. We lost out on money because we had to unnassign ourselves from our TWO orders because they were taking too long and didn't have it together. Zaxby's in Hinesville has some of the worst customer service I have ever come across. This is not the first incident we have had with this location. Read moreI’m normally not the type to leave reviews but with my experience at this Zaxbys location I must. First I want to start with the positives. The restaurant is normally clean when I go here. Never has an odor. Some shift managers are normally professional. At the beginning when the restaurant opens that is the BEST time to come to this location! Everything is cooked to perfection!! Those are the only positives I can say. Negatives. Some other managers and certain employees can be rude and unprofessional. Throughout the day as the chicken is cooked I noticed the chicken begins to have a smell of overused burnt grease. Which shows they do not change the grease throughout the day. I really hope this issue can be fixed because if so that would be an amazing problem solver to the quality of the food. I once informed the store of this issue and the manager on shift that evening offered no apology or didn’t say anything as he proceeded to issue my refund.
