A month ago, I would have given this restaurant 5 stars, but after today...2 stars is being generous. I ordered the teriyaki beef (same thing I always order) for carry out. They refused to give me white sauce because it "doesn't come with my meal", even though it always did before. I get home and open my "meal", only to find that it consisted of exactly 7 very small, very thin pieces of beef (like literally an inch big. It would take two pieces to make just one bite) and one small piece of broccoli. They also only gave me half the amount of rice they usually give. The beef was so burnt tasting that I didn't even enjoy it. The rice was literally crunchy. And the Miso soup that came with the meal, tasted like water. Never eating here again. I can't believe I was charged $14 for that terrible tasting, tiny amount of food. I'm about to go make myself a peanutbutter sandwich since I didn't even get full, and I bet it'll be better than whatever that disappointment was that Kyoto...

The food is very good. Every place has different methods of making sushi rice. But it's decently good. The fish quality is also very good. The drinks are always tasty, and I feel they add more alcohol than most restaurants would. Which is a huge plus in my books. They're definitely not stingy. The grilled and fried food is also very good. I came here many times, alone and with friends.
The service has always been great. Even when it's packed. They waitress has always been nice to me and my friends as well. Never had a problem with them. They also refill your drinks.
The atmosphere is cute. I personally think it needs a bit of an upgrade for paint, or at least a small renovation. But it's clean and cool inside. It definitely gives a mom and pops restaurants vibe. The sushi bar is small but very cool.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. Especially for date nights or just...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem in hinesville. We can't stay away now that we found it. The food here is awesome especially the ginger house salad dressing that you typically get with with this type of restaurant. Prices are okay and comparable to other restaurants, but I feel comfortable paying these prices for the type and quality of food. The restaurant is clean and does not feel greasy like most restaurants of this time. The service also has been very wonderful. Employees have been nice and very on top of their game. I really don't have anything bad to say about this restaurant. The only thing I would change would be the outside of the restaurant. The reason why it took us over a year to get the courage to go to this restaurant it's because the outside looks rundown and uninviting. A true lesson of don't judge a book by its cover. We love this place and will continue to go here...
