I've tried this place from doordash. I ordered the truffle mac n cheese, the gyro and the chick pea tuna.

Starting with the truffle mac n cheese, I was really expecting something wow from the reviews, but honestly it was just okay. The cheese sauce is more like cheese liquid. When you get your box, the bottom seems to be wet with water, but it turns out that its the sauce. Very runny, most of your spoonfuls of macaroni will taste just like plain pasta, but theres a truffle aroma. I'd say it was underwhelming.

The gyro was the most surprising dish. At first I didn't know it was the gyro because I expected a wrap of some kind, but instead its just a stiff flat bread with ingredients on it, you had your lettuce and then in each corner there was a thick slice of cucumber and tomato and then 4 triangles of falafel. The thing couldn't really be folded or wrapped cause it would break if you bent it so you kinda had to pick the ingredients out of it. The falafel... wow that was good. It was crispy, flavorful, delicious, but you had to pick it up and eat it like a chip rather than as a whole dish. The sauce that came along with it was certainly not tzatziki sauce. It was.. like a cucumber water. So watery, it tasted like ground up cucumber in some milky liquid, BUT i'll say it didn't taste too bad to dip the falafel in. But overall, for its presentation and the expectation you have, i'd give it a 2.

The chick pea tuna was the best of the 3 dishes, tasted good, melded together; quite delicious!

Overall, I'd say its an okay place. It's quite pricy for the portion size. Didn't feel that it was worth the cost. I hear a lot of praise for the avocado toast so perhaps those would have been a...

As someone who has been gluten free for almost 20 years - this place is AMAZING. The staff is so welcoming and personable. The food is prepared fresh every day and displayed beautifully. Everything on the menu can be prepared in any way and is carefully crafted to avoid any cross-contamination. The atmosphere is wonderful. The cafe is spotless decorated beautifully. I could sit here for hours - not to mention the coffee was spot on. You have to try the sweet potato and bean burger - it is the most flavorful meat alternative burger I have ever eaten. I look forward to coming here for years to come and stopping by multiple times a week. This place is so great and a MUST GO if you eat...

Wow!! From a non-vegan/ non- gluten free perspective the food was outrageously good. We got hoodwinked, truly everything was so fresh, flavorful, and beautiful. We had a breakfast burrito and fresh made cauliflower tortilla tacos & an empanada with a vegan dip. You tricked us… it was too good to be missing gluten/vegan ingredients. Can’t wait to try our raspberry marshmallows! Absolutely worth a visit and an eat.

The staff and owner clearly love what they do & are so excited about their dishes! We heard they do desserts/cakes for weddings- I bet your nonvegan/nongluten free guests wouldn’t even notice a difference they are...

Satisfying atmosphere, especially for northern New Jersey. This cafe is centrally located on Maple Ave, and offers the usual coffee-shop fare of caffeinated drinks, sweet or savory snacks, and salads. It did take quite a while for my coffee to be prepared, but nothing atrocious. I would recommend this spot for a leisurely visit, though to be fair there is very little competition in this segment (well decorated and inviting, modern cafe) in the immediate area. Glad it’s here!

Alt Eats has amazing Vegan food! Such a fun and relaxed space! Friendly service. It’s a local gem of a place! I had the “Marry Me Lemony Chick’n” special. It was wonderful!!! I also got the Chai vegan almond Turmeric, vanilla, cinnamon & vegan peach crumb muffin! A dream come true. Sone of my favorites include the Shitaki bacon avocado mash & the Vegan Tuna salad sub. Also pictured:Warm Quinoa Buddha Bowl from today. I’ll keep adding pics from my visits…
