A true 5 star experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bon Vie has seriously exceeded expectations and raised the bar for every restaurant in the area. The aesthetics and intimate atmosphere are unmatched and are elevated by the gourmet menu and inspired drinks!! The dishes are fresh and delicious plus paired with the wonderful selections from the bar- you will truly experience excellence. The Valentine’s Menu boasted an amazing array of dishes and my party and I ordered the scallops, oysters, filet mignon and risotto. To say that these dishes were perfection would be an understatement. Every single bite was curated with love and delicious intentions. The drinks are worth a trip in and of themselves. The themed drinks were exemplary and of course the staple drink menu provided an assortment of options with flavors sure to please all. Sipping on and biting into these little slices of heaven was an unforgettable feeling and one that I recommend endlessly. This entire experience soared to unprecedented heights due to the incredible and extraordinary service provided by our server, Samantha. She attended to our every need and went above and beyond making sure that our experience was truly meaningful. My party and myself left here feeling truly special and valued as both customers and members of the community. This establishment genuinely feels like family. Everyone on the staff was delightful and welcoming. I cannot wait to return. 💗

P.S.- There was an unfortunately nasty review left on here by someone I will not mention by name. However, I wish to address the “issue” that they faced. This person was informed that their reservation allotted them a specific amount of time to dine. This was regarded as something negative by this reviewer and I find that comical. Not only is this a high end, gourmet restaurant where others are going to be eating, but it is a Holiday. Valentine’s Day is huge in the restaurant industry and subsequently there are bound to be many reservations made. It is common practice and -hopefully- common knowledge that reservations are made in accordance to secure availability. To assume that your reservation will not comply with a schedule is ludicrous. I, too, was informed of my reservation’s time allotment as is standard practice. This reviewer also claimed that they had to “rush” in order to meet the reservations deadline and went as far as to chastise the staff’s attentiveness to support their claim. I must render this claim ridiculous as not only did every single dish I ordered come quickly, but the staff was the most attentive staff I have ever had the pleasure of being served by. I ordered appetizers, entrees, desserts and 3 drinks from the bar. At no point was I rushed or waiting for our server. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such an amazing experience for a night out. I came back to NWI to visit and take my dad out to dinner to celebrate his birthday, we were undecided on where to go, but he did know that he was hungry for Beef Wellington. After reaching out and asking the community where they’d recommend, it quickly became obvious that we HAD to try Bon Vie. Online it says to call to make a reservation but they get busy delivering great service, if they don’t answer, message their Facebook page! I was SO impressed with how fast they responded, and how quickly they were able to save my name and table for a reservation! And they even saved a Beef Wellington for my dad to have for his birthday dinner! I’m still so thankful because it’s all he wanted and they made sure that he got one. I had the surf and Turf Risotto and it was equally delicious! Their menu changes weekly so it might not be available after reading my review, but I’m confidant that you’ll love everything on their menu.

I also LOVE that they are a “Farm-To-Table” restaurant because everything tastes so… fresh. So different than a typical chain restaurant, and I love that they support and are supported by local producers. ♥️

And the ambience! I’m a lover of historical buildings/homes, and this place is absolutely stunning. If you’re a local or just passing through i definitely recommend checking this place out, you won’t regret it!

Omg!!! What a jewel!!! Hobart Indiana!!! A hop skip and jump from the Hobart Art theatre! Thank you for such an amazing experience!!! Kudos to such an incredible staff. The atmosphere was welcoming and Divine. The pear martini was ridiculously good!!! I have never experienced anything like it! Now let’s get to this exquisite food!! So glad we shared a meal, there was no way I could haven’t eaten all that food. Let’s began with the bread and butter…I’ve never had anything so soft, delectable and scrumptious. Carrots with the stem….. who would have thunk it…. The seasonings were perfect, the texture was incredibly on point, I could have just had those for my meal. The mashed potatoes were one of a kind! Thick, well seasoned, creamy, buttery and just plain ole delicious! Now to the steak… 22oz bone in ribeye!!! It didn’t appear medium but let me tell you something…. I almost lost my marbles when the first piece hit tongue. Talk about an exceptional melt in your mouth, make you wanna slap yo mama 50x!!!! Babyeeeeee. This steak is worth traveling for!!! I give this quaint on the River Jewel a 10 out of 10 and a gold star for the outstanding experience!
