I always look forward to the Hobart festival! This is a wonderful town in NWI. This town has a large beautiful lakefront; lake George. Every year the 3rd weekend in August the town puts on a festival. There are numerous food vendors, some craft vendors and a beer garden. There are live bands to enjoy! On Sunday there is a duck (plastic) race down the dam. Tickets are sold throughout the festival starting on Thursday night. All in all if you're traveling through the area or live near it's a must go to for family, friends and just a great time.

I go here every Thursday for the food festival and vendors that are selling stuff. We love it!!! Myself and a couple friends meet up there every Thursday and grab a table and hang out till they are closed up for the night. We did this last year and we made a promise to be there every Thursday and have stuck too it. Great food, good music, and great times with friends!!!!!!

This is normally a vibrant bustling charming park but this virus mania has kind of ruined it a bit. The swings are down and people can't use any buildings. The porta potties weren't too bad. Certainly beats staying at home wasting away watching news. Love Hobart. ❤

Great place for families and dogs. Swings, slides and swings for babies and kids. It's right on Lake George for fishing, kayaks and small boats however NO swimming. Has a bridge over the dam and lots of geese, ducks, seagulls, and at times other beautiful birds. Has several picnic tables, some benches, and a bandstand. They are redoing about 1/2 of the park closest to Chase Bank. At this time you can't fish or sit in the gabezo at this time. During the summer months, they have an exercise class, festival in the park, bands, dancing, movies, a TERRIFIC 4th of July parade down Lake Park Ave.,and a FANTASTIC fireworks display. There are weddings and other celebrations, bathrooms and a community center. We love it there and so does our small and very friendly dog, Cuddles. Please leash your animal friends and also be sure to pick up after them. Call Hobart police department for info. DO NOT call 911! ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO...

Really nice park. Renovations are almost complete. Frequented daily by locals walking their dogs (saw a lady walking a skunk, once!), fishing, watching their kids enjoy the play-area, picnicking, walking, jogging, taking yoga classes, and enjoying the swinging park benches. Located adjacent to the park, is the public library. Smallish, indoor banquette area that overlooks the lake can be reserved for private events. Covered outdoor area is also available for reserve. Local residents pay reduced...
