I can't help but share the incredible experience I had at Sips Coffee Shop, all thanks to the amazing barista, Kyle! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest smile and a genuine enthusiasm for coffee that's truly infectious.
Kyle's attention to detail in crafting the perfect cup of coffee is nothing short of extraordinary. He took the time to ask about my preferences, and his expert recommendations resulted in a drink that surpassed my expectations. It's evident that he takes pride in his work, ensuring each sip is a delightful experience.
What sets Kyle apart, though, is his exceptional customer service. His friendly demeanor and willingness to engage in genuine conversation created a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel like more than just a customer. It's clear that he genuinely cares about making people's days a little brighter through the simple joy of a well-made cup of coffee.
The positive energy Kyle brings to Sips Coffee Shop is contagious, and it's apparent that he not only loves what he does but also takes pleasure in creating memorable moments for each customer. Read moreOK! No, AWESOME! Sip was an amazing discovery while visiting another shop in Hobart - Unity Shoes...they're another review with a big WIN. I Digress... Sip has one SERIOUSLY good menu and the items me and my mate had were just way better than we expected. At 1:30pm they served anything that was on the menu. Pastry display was KNOCKOUT DELICIOUS. Strawberry covered Cheesecake, Tiramisu (or is it Tarimasu?) They were SCRATCH homemade recipes and PAMN-GOOD! Coffee variety was plenty and it came in a genuine coffee cup that kept the coffee hot, by its shape. There is nothing I know of in Northwest Indiana, or elsewhere that has this GEM beat. NONE better in Chesterton, Valpo, Mich City, Mishawaka. Now, I'm not comparing this Gem to other types of restaurants. What they do is EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD... Where can ya get a serious sized, magnificent sandwich for $7.25??? I hope the locals appreciate those prices, cuz wealthier towns charge DOUBLE that for a similar item.
Whoever put that place up really...

Only tricks, tasted like a five dollar drink, very sweet and offering the typical muddy tea bite, I'm sure Panera Bread could match the quality for even cheaper. That's when I become a bit odd and make sure expectations are leveled because getting close to ten bucks for any Java House drink demands crafted ingredients. House made syrups are the minimum, superior bean and tea sourcing, and a refined balanced beverage that tingles and sings through the taste buds. Neither of those three showed up here. Service was fine, atmosphere old wood and enjoyable, and street parking all over do make this a better option for food I'd imagine...
