Papa Gino's — Restaurant in Holden

Very disappointed. Stood by the phone while my wife ordered our pizzas. The person taking the order had a hard time understanding we wanted a small pizza with extra hamburger and a large green pepper and onion pizza. I heard it read back two times incorrectly and my wife corrected them. Upon arrival our order was read back to me as a small cheeseburger sub and a large pepper and onion pizza. When I said no that was incorrect and said my wife had a hard time with the person on the phone understanding our order, the person behind the counter gave an attitude and said it was her that took the order. I said well I heard the whole conversation and it was a struggle for her to understand what was being conveyed and her attitude grew. She grabbed who I thought was a manager, who was very nice and said it would take about ten minutes to make what we ordered. I said that was fine. While I waited the original person who took the order told anyone that would listen we ordered a sub and I had the attitude. Long story short, not one manager grabbed that kid and explained you don’t air grievances in front of the customer, especially when you are in the wrong. I stood there stewing listening and watching this unprofessional behavior while they corrected their mistake as workers dragged their phone chargers and tablet chargers across the empty pizza pans stacked on the counter. Ordered 2 pizzas and cinnamon sticks for delivery. Driver was on time and courteous. The pizza was okay. The problem is what they sent for cinnamon sticks. It wasn't anything like what we've received in the past and not even close to what is pictured on the website. It was basically a hollow bubble of dough that was over cooked and buried under butter and cinnamon. Tough to chew and not at all enjoyable. The kids were excited for them but wouldn't (or couldn't) eat them. We threw them out before thinking of taking a photo. Had a post written up but it wouldn't let me post it so here's a quick one. Food is good IF you can actually order any. Last several weeks the hours have changed almost daily (not exaggerating either) and closing randomly too. I've been trying to order for weeks now, all I want is a decently priced sub delivered but never know if they will actually be open. So unless you want dinner at 2pm, if they don't decide to randomly be closed that day, you're probably out of luck. 2 stars cause the food is good, but they never seem to be open and you can't rely on the hours because they change...
