I recently visited this location with my son and while using the restroom I noticed an employee by the name of Noah drop a syringe on the restroom floor which contained a brown liquid in it. I then brought this to his attention and he then retrevere the syringe and asked me to not tell his manager or he would be fired. I then asked this gentleman what drug he was having a problem with and why he hasn't seemed some form of treatment for his addiction and then he then goes on to tell me that he is struggling with a heroin addiction and that he hasn't sought out some form of treatment because he didn't want his LDS parents to be upset with him. I then left the restroom and went straight to his manager to bring it to their attention because it was concerning that this induviindi was under the influence and I was worried that if he had made a mistake again in the future that a child could potentially get hurt or worse contract some disease or what not. After bringing this to the managements attention I was then told that he would be drug tested and if he was found positive for drugs that they would deal with the situation then. Here it is now 2 weeks later and this person is still employed at this McDonald's and you can clearly see that this employee is under the influence of something and now children as well as adults are in jeprody of contracting something or worse getting hurt do to this employees blatent disrespect and carefree attitude about his drug usage. I even went to the extreme and approached Noah and asked him if had quite using as well as gotten some type of treatment and he said yes so I then asked him of he would volunteer allowing me to look into his backpack and he stated that he had only had some syringes in his backpack and that he no longer brought drugs to his work. The management at this location obviously doesn't care what their employees are doing or how they could be potentially putting the public at risk. I would highly recommend to anyone going here to eat to turn their vehicle around and go somewhere that is safe to eat and report anything that is seen out of line to their corporate office like I am about to do and shut down this filthy place that is nothing more then just a shooting gallery to get high at and grill people's food. I would honestly think that a third world country would probably be safer to eat at then this place. Good luck to anyone that didn't take my fair warning and if you end up with hep C or worse AIDS don't say I didn't...
Read moreLately, this location has been 5 stars but todays experience doesnt deserve more than 1. I will start by saying it was about 2pm and busier than it normally is when I visit which has been 1-3 times a week the past several months. I placed an order from the app and picked it up in store. I ordered 1 big mac, 1 mcdouble, 1 hamburger, 2 double burgers with no pickles and extra onions, and two large fries. Once i was almost home i started looking for a double burger to begin eating it in the car. I realized one double burger was missing and the other one said it had cheese and added mayo. Each burger/sandwich has a receipt/label taped to it so you know what its inside the wrapper - as always. I turn around to drive back to the store to get the missing double burger and to replace the one with cheese and mayo. The woman who helped me opened it with her bare hands and showed me, almost rubbing it in my face, that it was in fact the correct double burger despite the label on it being completely wrong. She tried to justify it with an excuse - something along the lines of the receipt/label may be wrong but the sandwich is always correct. I dont want this sandwich that shes now touched with her hands, and she begins to process an order for the missing double burger and the incorrectly labeled double burger. Ok, great. I check in the car and the labels/receipts on these two new double burgers are correct, double burgers with extra onions and no pickles. At this point i just want to get home as fast as possible and feed the family. I get home now for the second time, now the whole families food is cold. NOTHING is remotely warm at this point. AND she sent me home AGAIN with incorrectly labeled burgers. They were regular hamburgers inside the wrappers now, not double burgers like i paid for and like the new receipts/labels showed. Like i said at the beginning of this review, this location had been great lately, however if the store is busy and if you're ordering more than two sandwiches definitely proceed with caution. Trust no one, trust no receipts/labels, if ordering to go, physically open every sandwich to check whats inside as you cannot trust the label/receipt in any case. Sometimes the label will be wrong and whats inside the wrapper will be correct. Other times the label will be correct but whats inside the wrapper...
Read moreVery clean and well-kept, the space. Physically (sight, sound, smell), it is very inviting--a very refreshing specimen of a fast-food restaurant.
The service was also more prompt to engage me, and the same was true of every customer who walked in to order to-stay meals.
Morale seemed high in the kitchen in a trump genuine, un-forced way, yet the stagg was efficient with time and product.
The only thing they lacked was that EXTRA sparkle in their customer service. It was as-good to better-than-average but definitely didn't go any further.
Sound picky?
There is SO MUCH going for it already that'll they're really shooting themselves in the foot by not having that magic that comes with that effervescent, ebullient, positive, invincibly contagious SPIRIT that is the mark of something not good but truly SPECIAL--not in the sense that there is a place in town that consistently performs stellar customer service but rather that there is a corner of the earth in which something seems RIGHT with the world.
THAT'S what this place stands to gain if they only knew it. That's why I said it. Is it splitting hairs, or is it that this power and gift is already IN them, this store and its staff, and are but one step away from making it a reality, that they are standing on the cusp of something great?
Pay this McDonald's a visit sometime and find out...
