Rancherito's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Holladay

Me and my wife have been coming here for the last 4 years . We have never ever had a problem with the food or the service. The lady that helped us at the window was extremely rude and rushed us from the beginning asking if we wanted sauce.. before we even had a chance to say what sauce we wanted she turned around and let the windows shut..extremely rude! Then once our food was ready she tried to rush the food through the window into our hands my wife was literally about to drop the food so she had to throw the pen that they gave us to sign the receipt inside there window so she wouldn't drop the food. There was no line .was not busy at all. And then finally once opening the bad to check to see if she heard what kind of sauce we wanted. She didn't even put the sauce we wanted in the bag. So we waited in the drive thru for her to give us the right sauce .our red sauce. .keep in mind there was NO LINE . When we asked for red sauce she literally threw into our car at my wife .and only gave us one. And then argued that the reason why she thought she had the slightest right to even do something like that to us .she said we threw the pen at her...no we thru the pen inside her window because all she was concerned about was rushing us our food without being carefull and grabbing the receipt. Because she needed a signature .Pardon my French but that B word needs to learn how to treat costumers...

Over the past few years of getting food from this place, it has ALWAYS been a Hit or Miss when you order your food. For ex. if you wanted a Egg and Cheese ONLY burrito, you are most likely not going to get it the way you ordered it, since it will be more Pico de Gallo and Potato's then actual Eggs' and Cheese. On top of that, they put VERY LITTLE cheese into the burrito or put WAY too much cheese into it, and its all on one side of the burrito, making it just plain out hard to eat. Even the food pictures on the menu inside is just a complete lie to the way you would actually get said food item. For ex. the nacho's with fries on the picture make it look all organised for an easy way to eat it, but in reality, it is a COMPLETE mess and hard to eat since the fries would just be completely soggy from all the sauces. You would be better off at eating...

You should know what you're getting into when you head into a Rancherito's. The food is fairly standardized across the franchise and I, generally, enjoy the food they make. Especially compared to what you might call more Americanized Mexican food like the Bell or the Del. This place was very good as far as the food is concerned. The location itself was a bit substandard. It appears to be a converted drive through diner style fast food place which leaves the restaurant with pretty awkward layout. The bathroom can only be accessed by walking outside and to the back of the place. Also, their furniture is rickety and wobbly. Luckily their service was perfect and the food was great. I wouldn't mind coming back but might stick to the drive...
