Papa Romano's Pizza & Mr. Pita — Restaurant in Holland

Being from out of town we have only had pizza from Papa Romano’s a few times now.

This time around we tried ordering online and realized quickly after that our order was sent in to a location on the other side of the state. After calling the store that received our order and receiving a very rude response and refusal to help in trying to fix the mistake, I called the Holland, MI store. Frustrated, I asked to speak with the manager, looking to place my order with them and get a corporate contact to try and deal with the issue with the other store further.

Listening to what happened, and truly caring about us as customers, the manager went above and beyond to make things right for us. The mistake was made by us, the poor service was from the other side of the state, but the Holland store turned a negative experience for my family into a stellar one. It’s great to know great customer service still exists. We look forward to the next time we come to town and will be calling our order...

Very disappointed in Papa Romano's in Holland, Michigan, as we consulted the internet for the the best pizza in Holland and Papa Romano's was the first to appear. We placed our order for pizza and wings about 8:47 pm (keep in mind they closed at 10) and, unfortunately for us, we received both items extremely burnt but did not notice till we got back to the hotel. The workers were more concerned with cleaning and closing duties as they were mopping the floors, shaking out the rugs and even dancing. While the workers who took our order were pleasant enough to us, they did not care about preparing quality food. Had they said to us "hey we burnt your order, can we prepare it again for you" we would have been happy to wait but they just passed it on knowing it was burnt. Stay away from Papa Romano's in Holland--there's way better pizza...

Was my spot for chicken bbq pizza, the best in town! I ordered a chicken pizza at the wrong time, late at 7pm on a slow weekday. The chicken probably sat in the store with no where to go and just rotting away until I ordered it up. They didn't want to waste any chicken they had cooked at noon right? I should have known better than to order chicken at this hour of day. A lot of restaurants tend to do the same thing to save money. I should've learned by now. Order the chicken when its fresh, skip if you're craving chicken late in the day. The boss won't hear you, I tried to call and work things out but all you'll likely get is a promise to give you a call upon taking your phone number down. I'm sad to let this place go, gonna miss that bbq chicken, nobody else even...
