Where do I start...My boyfriend and I just got back from this Subway restaurant with our dinner. When we walked in to the restaurant, there were children carrying boxes of chips around and restocking the drink lids, etc. I thought they may have been the owner's children as there was no indication as why children were working. We were greeted by an older woman who was dressed in a Subway uniform and another child (perhaps between 10-12 years old) who had an elementary school shirt on. They were the only two behind the counter. The child did not have any sort of headwear on and was wearing nail polish. The girl started with my sandwich, but in following directions from the employee, turned my sandwich in to my boyfriend's sandwich. Luckily, we were both getting Spicy Italian on Italian Herbs and Cheese. The employee asked my boyfriend if he wanted his sandwich toasted. He said no. The first time that I was asked what I wanted on my own sandwich (before the girl switched sandwiches), I said that I wanted American Cheese and that I wanted it toasted. My sub did not get toasted as the child who was making it followed the instructions of the employee who said, "They said they don't want these toasted." When the employee brought our sandwiches to the condiment side, she started putting lettuce on my boyfriend's sandwich before she even asked him what he wanted on it. The employee finished with his sandwich, cut, and wrapped it, leaving the dirty knife out on the counter. The child, who received no instruction from the employee, used the same knife that was used to cut my boyfriend's sandwich, which was covered in sauce. Thankfully, I am not allergic to anything that was on his sandwich, because his sauce is definitely on my plain sandwich. While the child was trying to figure out what to do next, the employee pulls her personal cell phone out of her back pocket, and with her gloves still on, messes around on her phone for a few seconds before putting it back in her pocket. When we get to the register to pay, the employee says, "Just so you know, our debit cards are not working. You will have to pay in cash. It's been like that since I walked in. Is that okay?" I said, "No. I was going to pay with a credit card. I can't even go to the ATM and get cash out." She pulled out some blank receipt paper, wrote down our orders, wrote her initials, "KI," and had me sign, confirming that she had comped our orders. The line behind us was long, and at this point none of the other customers knew that they had to pay in cash. I was just about to tell them, as the employee neglected to, when the employee announced to the restaurant that they would need to pay in cash. As someone who has personally worked in the restaurant business for years, I was appalled. I am grateful that our sandwiches were free, but there were so many things wrong with this restaurant experience. I still do not understand why there were children working and why no other employees...
Read moreComing from out of town, we were surprised to find that the young man taking our order thru the drive thru. He seemed genuinely upset by our large multiple sub order, that he got an attitude. In which we tried to understand, how much of a pain it was through the drive thru. Having said that, and having no other recourse due to covid 19, it was totally uncalled for. Wondering what they expected when the walk in dine in part of the facility was closed. I still wished him a good day, refrained from becoming a mirror image of him to his face, that won't help a thing. But, During the rest of our vacation we did not, nor will we ever return to this particular subway in the future. Not only did you leave a bad experience in our minds, but also each and every one in the vehicle. Which all went back and the first topic was your rude actions and disrespectful tone. I can only assume the store could care less considering whom they hire, LOL. It is ashamed that one single employee can make a single store toxic. I usually give pretty nice reviews..... unless... a negative experience makes this warranted. No star for THIS PARTICULER STORE. You lost 4 complete...
Read moreAvoid this location it’s terrible. Management/franchise owner has not contacted me a week after they messed up both sandwich’s completely. Not only the toppings missing, but the bread was oddly small and the meat seemed to reflect this too. Easily the smallest footling subs I have ever seen at Subway. I got totally ripped off. Online pickup through drive thru, inside of restaurant closed. Called store after unwrapping sandwiches at home and was told I had to return the sandwiches for replacements. Seriously? No other restaurant in my life has not owned up to their own mistakes. Not one but both were wrong. Called location again a week after to follow up and the second manager I spoke with has confirmed they basically don’t care. Was told to contact Subway directly? Go to Jimmy...
