I have been waiting for Nadine's to open since they first started their instagram page, and as soon as I saw that they opened very soon, I made time to take a visit here. Though I didn't know what to expect when I ordered my food yesterday on opening day, but I can say without a doubt that I will certainly be coming back there as a regular. I got the Maxwell Polish and let me tell you, it's simply perfection and lives up to the Chicago style street food name.
Walking into Nadine's almost felt like I was walking into someone's house, it felt very much like a home. Maybe it's cause I know some people that work there or some people that happened to be there ordering food as well, or definitely the pleasant aroma that filled the air as the scent of a mother's cooking. Now that on top of the music being played on a big flat screen tv, the PS5 on the wall, and the decor, really just topped it off for me. I have only been there one time out of many to come and I feel as if I can say that I'm part of the family at Nadine's.
Sorry about the rant, but it's safe to say that it's very much worth it to visit Nadine's Fish...
Read moreTBH, I was heading to Daddios Carryout - my go-to for comfort food in Holland. They were closed. Hence, the search for a comparable catfish dinner began and Google led me to try Nadines. Excellent advice.
The medium Catfish Nugget Basket with fries was PERFECTION. Perhaps the best nuggets I've ever had, for $11 nonetheless. The fish was perfectly cooked, seasoned, breaded and came from an outstanding quality fillet.
I totally goofed and thought the basket came with cole slaw, but later realized the basket was only accompanied by fries and bread. Went to order a side of slaw and they were going to just give it to me for free, even though it's normally $1.99. While relatively inconsequential, I had to insist to even pay for it.
Clearly, Nadines cares about their customers' experience and have an outstanding product to back it up. I'll certainly be back (for the links, wings, perch, gyro, Chicago dog, the list goes on...) and definitely recommend others...
Read moreIf you’re in the mood for some BBQ done right and made with love, Nadine’s has got it! Four things: First, super welcoming staff. Friendly smiling dude greeted me immediately upon walking through the door. Second, GREAT prices and value. I usually eat a smaller meal so I was excited to see a 4oz rib tip option for $6.95. Served with fries and a piece of white bread. Third, it was super quick! I was there around 4:30pm on a Tuesday. I had my order placed, and in my hands within 5 minutes. Fourth…those tips were FREAKING DELICIOUS!! I work in roofing so I like discovering new places to eat outside of Grand Rapids. If you’re in or around Holland, you have got to check out Nadine’s. You will be happier after, guaranteed. I know I was. That meal made my day. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. 🙏
