Original Italian Pizza — Restaurant in Hollidaysburg

If I could give a 0 star I would. I called to place a take out order and the person that answered the phone was unbelievably rude. I asked if I could pay with a card over the phone & told him I’d get my card, he shouted HELLO at me before I said I was getting my card, he then told me he was placing me on hold. When he came back to the phone I asked to speak to a manager to which he replied “I am the manager.” I asked why he was so rude and he said “he had to check the oven” I told him I was getting my card when repeatedly interrupted me and continued to be very ignorant. I told him I’d like to just cancel my order (we order from there very often) and he was very condescending saying “have a good night.” They have lost my business for good. Never in my 25+ years of working in restaurants have I ever treated a customer so poorly. I hope the owners see this review and he is at the very least spoken to. I come here all the time and always tip $5-$10 well Saturday the day of the pumpkin festival I had no where to park outside my house (a block away from OIP) so i parked on the street the oip is on. Then when i go get to move my car back to in front of my house i have a nasty note reading “don’t park outside an open restaurant” with other nasty words. Anyway I have come numerous times when online it states it’s open then they decide just not to open it that day, so how am i really suppose to tell when it’s open ? i was parked on a public street ! it was very rude and nasty and i will no longer be giving my business to them since they depend on it so much. i’ll go to the other OIP bc at least the food is always fresh at...

I tried Original Italian Pizza (more commonly known as OIP) for the first time on a busy weekeday at lunchtime. Needless to say, because of those circumstances, the staff seemed stressed and weren't friendly. It could have been since I was an unfamiliar face, since they seemed to get on with the other, regular patrons.

Food: I tried a meatball Parmesan. The sandwich was nice and very, very hot, and the cheese was fully melted, which is what I'm looking for. The sauce was quite sweet for my liking, so I probably would not order that again.

As for the space itself: The actual seating area is only a few tables, so coming in at the lunch rush, there may not be available seating. Thumbs up for the bathrooms, they seemed...
