When we heard the geniuses behind The Sahara Grill (my favorite restaurant atm) were opening a full service concept, i was super excited.
I brought the fam for fathers day and decided to order a bunch of items as a family-style smorgasbord. We started with 3 appetizers; The dip trio, Greek potatoes, and (you have to try these) potato chops.
For entree we tried the rack of lamb and kufta kabob.
Everything was cooked perfectly. The lamb was NOT gamey and cooked to perfection.
The GM, Juan, explained that everything is made fresh to order. Their cooler is small and only has enough room for the days stock. I believe him as the fresh-only approach is something that keeps me returning to their other restaurant (The Sahara Grill). Unmatched flavor!
The star of the night was the potato chops. I ordered another set to go and definitely see bulk orders of these in the future. (Maybe they'll make a frozen package I can pop into my air fryer)
I was told by the owner that I must try the beef shawarma next time. She winked knowingly, "you will really love it"
The entire staff are super friendly and family oriented. They worked hard to get to know us individually. Highly recommend you give this family owned...
Read moreThis is a new restaurant owned by the same people who own Sahara Grill on Hwy 92 in Woodstock. My family are HUGE fans of that place so we were really excited to give this new, table-service restaurant a try and it did NOT disappoint!
Among the 4 of us we shared the dip trio, Greek potatoes, potato chop, rack of lamb, and kufta kebab. Everything was delicious, especially the potato chop, which are these little fried potato cakes with spiced (not spicy) ground beef in the middle. They were so good, I could've eaten all 4 by myself. The food is really fresh and all made to order.
The place is family owned (same as Sahara Grill) and they are always so nice. Great service and a fun selection of cocktails, as well!
They also told us that there will be weekly specials and new menu additions in the coming months, so we're excited to go back. Double excited, actually, because they're open on Sunday when Sahara is closed and we always seem to crave their...
Read moreNa’ar Mediterranean is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and full of the rich aromas of authentic Mediterranean cooking.
Our server, Kelli, was absolutely phenomenal friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about every item on the menu. She made us feel like we were more than just customers she treated us like guests in her own home.
Juan, the general manager, checked in on us personally, which speaks volumes about how seriously they take hospitality here. It’s clear he runs the place with pride and a real commitment to customer satisfaction.
And a special shout out to Tony, the owner. It’s not often you find a restaurant where you can feel the heart behind the food and the service. You’ve built more than just a business, you’ve built a community.
Can’t wait to come back again. Highly...
