Almost every time I come here there is an issue so I will fix the issue by not coming here again.
Last time cost me $25 and 20 min of my evening. I was bringing my injured dog home after work/vet appt and stopped here so I could get food quickly.
Pulled in and was the first one at the speaker and there were only about four cars in the whole place. Ordered right away, pulled up to the window and paid.
There were about six people working so my first thought was “man this will be fast”. I sat there for 20 minutes and not one person would come to the window despite me making eye contact with four different people multiple times.
No one gave me drinks first like a typical fast food order, no one opened the window and said “hey X is happening so it will be about X amount of time”. Nothing.
No communication at all. My dog had been in the car for almost an hour total at this point and my other dog was at home waiting for his dinner so I had to leave.
I called the store later and was told I had to come in person to get a refund despite having the receipt with all relevant information on it in my hand.
I called the corporate number and their response was to apologize and make a ticket and FORWARD IT TO THE STORE. So of course no one ever contacted me and I’m not going to waste any more of my time than the experience, the two phone calls, and this review has...
Read moreWe used to love this Sonic and would eat here weekly. It has completely gone downhill. Tonight we started eating in the drive in and the burger buns felt gritty. When I turned on the lights in the car we realized all the buns were covered in white mold. My kids had already eaten most of theirs. I knew what it was and what their hamburger buns normally look like. I tried to let them know, but was initially told they were delivered today and it was flour from a baking sheet. I know they are not baking the buns there! We have pictures of the mold covered buns. They were either old/stale or ruined from moisture from being improperly stored. The Manager remade 3 new burgers out of the 7 we bought that all had mold, but we didn't eat them. She also told me she saw what I was talking about and took those buns down from her rack. Never again will we eat here. The edges of the burgers were dry and crispy. I think they were sitting out. I plan to call Corporate in the morning to let them know what's going on. Read more(05-28-2023) another epic disaster. My daughter tried to go over to just get two blasts they staff couldn't get this simple order right. The teenaged staff, argued amongst themselves regarding the order and asked multiple times for payment. No one even attempted to resolve the issue but trief to make my daughter and her order, the problem. This location better change management or change strategy because I don't give him another 6 months and they'll be out of business. It's bad enough that the food sucks, but, now you take away even remote shred or shadow of customer service away and this place IS going to shut down!
