This was by far the worst experience I have had with a restaurant. My wife orders two wraps for takeout. We don’t open the wraps until we get home. Right before I go to take the first bite, I hear my wife say “The chicken is pink!” Sure enough, I open my wrap and the chicken is gray and pink.
I go back to the restaurant and the person at the register (very friendly) tells me to call Nancy to ask for a refund. To be honest, I was a little confused as to why no one in the restaurant was trained to issue refunds and that the customer was responsible to reach out to the owner, but I did. I called Nancy twice and she doesn’t answer.
I go back in a week later and a different person at the register tells me to call the male owner (Troy or something). I call him, and he says it’s really difficult to issue a refund. He tells me to go back in the store and get anything I want. I politely told him that due to circumstances of getting pink chicken, I wasn’t really interested in getting food from there and would like a refund instead.
He went on to explain that it’s really difficult to get a refund and it would take up to a week. I told him that’s fine. He tells me to text him the name on the card, date of transaction, and the amount, which I send. He told me he would CC me in the refund email and I should get it issued shortly. He never Cc’d me.
I wait 2 weeks and text him to see what happened. The next day he sends me a text message saying he would take care of it. I wait another week and ask him again what’s going on with the refund request. I was ignored again.
I would assume being a small business owner that hinges on reputation, he would be eager to make it right, but I’m still waiting months later. I would highly recommend...
Read moreHave been a customer here for almost a year now and had a disappointing experience with one of the owners this morning. I ordered my usual smoothie I get and I asked to have it remade because it did not taste even close to how it usually does. He used the SAME smoothie, poured it back and added milk to it…it didn’t taste much different than the original. I asked for an entirely different flavor - today must have not been their day. He assumes to charge me again (another $9) for the other smoothie he made. I said fine and paid for it. So far, I have paid almost $20 for nothing. The younger employee made me a third one and was very kind throughout the entire time. For that expensive of a smoothie/food place, I would’ve expected the service to somewhat align. Holly springs really needs better, cleaner, customer focused & conscious restaurant options. Not to mention they offer a “rewards program” that doesn’t even keep track accurately. Plan to spend a ton of money and not be satisfied at all. Will not plan to be back here ever.
UPDATE 12/15/2023: Had a phone call about this incident with Troy the owner on the phone which was ultimately a verbal attack from him calling me a liar, A LONG TIME CUSTOMER). Seems to be a pattern of theirs based on previous reviews. What a terrible customer experience overall, this...
Read moreWe went to SupaBowlz Cafe to support FVHS with their fundraiser. We ordered 3 items (Build your own Poke, Build your own Bowl, and the Chicken Avocado Wrap). The food was AMAZING! The wrap was huge and the bowls, though we thought they were a decent size, turned out to be huge as well. All 3 of us tried each others and there were still leftovers. The staff was outstanding. They were extremely friendly and great at offering suggestions. (To the girl who suggested the Sweet Asian mixed with Spicy Mayo... YES!) I loved that you can basically build a bowl to satisfy the cuisine you're craving... mexican, asian, suishi, southwestern, american. The wait for the food was about what you would expect. In fact, probably quicker than most "fast food" these days. If I have to say anything negative, it would be that they bagged the warm items with the cold items, but this isn't enough to give anything other than 5 stars. My daughter is looking forward to going there for lunch and my husband and I are looking forward to returning to try other options, or, perhaps, get the same delicious...
