So normally fast food isn’t fast anymore and I get that. Understand fully being short staffed or that training is going on. However this wasn’t about short staff or shipping problems. This is simply about a restaurant worker not treating a customer as let alone a customer but as a human being.
15 Minutes we waited for fries. Two separate orders left prior to having to go into the store and get my food. Upon walking in they are bagging the order and it’s then placed in the drivethru area before anyone acknowledge I was at the counter. At that time I said exactly what was ordered, explaining the time we waited. Then they confirmed with the drivethru worker and then and only then we were allowed our food.
Needless to say this isn’t the first time. Four staff members working that I could see. All team members with probably the poorest appearance of a food worker I’ve seen, food on the floor, lobby dirty and so on. Four people is enough. I’ve opened fast food myself with just a manager and worked through a morning rush. It’s just about how hard you’re willing to work.
It’s not an easy job and I get that. But you make the choice to take pride in your work or not. Unfortunately the attitude of the drive thru worker ARIEL we won’t be back. Read moreThe absolute worst Wendy's I've gone to on a regular basis. My entire life, the majority of the Wendys I've ate at, have great service, accurate food orders, and good tasting food. This place must have a horrendous manager, because everything has been an issue. They close hours before their listed closing time constantly. They run out of products all the time. And not like just the special temporary things. 3x they've been out of fries. 2x chicken sandwiches. Their drink dispenser is constantly screwing up, leaving out carbonation or syrup. I've waited for over 20 mins multiple times when they have had no one else really there. Of the 20-30 times I've attended to go to this location, they have gotten my order correct 2 maybe 3 times. Like never taking off tomatoes, even though I say it and repeat it and it's on the receipt. Service is snotty, rude and not helpful. You will ask probably, why do you keep going here if it's so bad? We'll it's because it's literally right by where I live and it's convenient. And I've always loved Wendys and guess I hoped it would get better. It hasn't. And I'm done. It's worth driving 5 miles to Fenton to actually get a meal, how I want it, reasonable quick, accurately, and with food service that's respectful and friendly. #neveragain...
Read moreI stopped on my way pot of town on a Sunday and ordered a bacon Swiss croissant. Whe I later unwrapped it there was no bacon on it. I called the store and they told me they would add my name to a list and the next time I stopped they would give a new sandwich. I tried that today and had a horrible conversation with the manager. She was yelling at me that my name wasn't on the list and she had to have details before she could do anything. I told her the date and time and she yelled for the person who waited on us to come to the window and began questioning him. He only took my order and gave us the food. I was mad but did not yell at her. She yelled at me "Don't get an attitude with me". But it was okay for her to yell at me with a really bad attitude for a manager. I have no idea who I talked to that day when I called. She offered me extra bacon, but no sandwich. I finally told her "No" and she took the bag with my husband's sandwich I had ordered and threw it through the window of my car and told me "take this for free and leave".
