Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Virginia

I have been to many chickfila’s in my lifetime as a matter of fact, I even worked at one in HS a long time ago. They are always clean and friendly.

This one is the exception. We came in the restaurant around 8 pm and the first thing the person at the register said “we close in an hour”. Ok.

We then ordered and got our drinks and went to the big dining room. A young lady was there and said this section is closed please go to the back and sit. There was one table and it was filthy. We had to go find someone to clean it. We then asked for napkins and forks for salad ( because they were in the closed section) she said they will bring with food. They didnt. We had to ask.

During our meal there were people waiting for seats because the main dining room was closed. People weren’t loitering. Just eating their food. 3 small groups were waiting for a table.

As i was leaving, I saw workers in the front just talking and hanging out. Very uncharacteristic for a chickfila. My old chick fil a boss would say “ if you have time to lean, you have time to clean”

I expect this from McDonalds, but not chick fil a. Y’all...

First disappointing chick-ful-a visit for me. I pulled into the drive through at 9:40pm. There were 2 cars in the right lane and none in the left lane. (Mind you it wasn't blocked off). After sitting at the menu for 30 seconds an employee comes out and puts cones blocking the left drive through and lets me know the lane is closed but they'll take my order after the car to my right has ordered. After the car to my right pulls through another car pulls up and gets their order taken. I'm in no rush so waiting a few extra minutes doesn't matter. Well 4 more cars pull up and get their orders taken, and I'm still sitting waiting patiently. Finally a sixth car pulls into the right lane and gets their order started. This was at 9:50pm. At 9:51 a tornado warning gets issued. Not even 30 seconds after the warning being issues someone finally gets on the speaker and tells me they cannot take my order due to a tornado warning being issued. (Mind you the car to my right is still ordering). I was neglected for 10 minutes and got nothing. Seems like a lack of communication between employees, or I was forgotten about. Either way...

Very disappointed in the quality of this restaurant. It seems like this Chick fil a, in particular, is always a bad experience. They do not even come close to the other two stores in town. Tonight, when my husband and I came through the workers were so unprofessional and disgusting. One worker (guy in a light blue shirt) was pouring water on the floor and mopping 45 minutes before close. All the other workers started yelling down the hall at him, asking him why he was mopping so early. They started messing around and passing the squeegee between each other to see who could mop the best. The girl who was packing the food kept the same gloves on, after mopping, and then went back to packing food which involved her sticking her thumb in the french fries. GROSS. It also took a very long time for our food and everyone in their was very immature and unprofessional. All of the booths were dirty with food on the tables. We wanted to tell someone about it but there didn't appear to be anyone who was responsible or mature enough to give us good...
