So I tried this place out due to positive reviews saying it tastes like the real thing, I disagree. It's tasty, not Italian tasty but tasty, very little food and overpriced with low effort I feel.
I placed a to-go order for the lasagna and stuffed shell combo, entrees come with garlic rolls and a side salad, and a tiramisu.
First off, you better be banking off not being hungry, I had just donated blood so I was very and when I was handed my food weight alone it didn't even feel like 8 dollars worth of food let alone 20. The amount of lasagna they gave was about 2.5 inches by 1.5 inch and with it was a single stuffed shell, essentially just a lot of ricotta cheese. The ricotta cheese is very bland, the meat sauce was better but the pasta is tender to say the least. The food quality is above your common cheap pizza shop but those places at least give you a pound of food and for less money with a chicken parm cutlet. If it weren't for the food coming with garlic rolls I'd be starving, also they give 3?? Why 3 for a single entree? Probably because they know you're not going to get full whatsoever, so they give you 3 garlic rolls, very good quality ones. Paired with an admittedly fresh and crisp side salad with the bare minimum of veggies, their homemade ranch is very zesty at least.
I had also ordered a Tiramisu with this entree and wow, I finished eating everything and it is STILL a block of ice. This was ordered ahead of time so they did nothing to thaw out the clearly deep frozen tiramisu. I assume they took it out as the last thing forgetting about it. I don't expect it fresh made for 5 dollars, the size is very good tbh but you know, I wish I could eat it? It has freezer burn along the edges so I don't even want to force myself to eat it like hard ice cream cause it tastes like the freezer.
This was disappointing and honestly a waste of money, it being a tasty two bites worth of food doesn't make up for...
Read moreI went in person to make my order instead of calling ahead, but it was definitely worth the wait. Good people there making good food. I believe the guy who made my take home pizzas is named Hector, and he really cared about making a good pie and giving me a good experience. He recommended the stuffed pizza, and I'm glad he did. The stuffed pizza was amazing, and these were some of the best Sicilian slices I've ever had.
I've tried dozens of Pizza spots in Florida like Lucali's in South Beach and Steve's Pizza in North Miami. I'm always on the lookout for a new spot, and this place definitely delivered based off the reviews.
It's a little doughy, chewy with a bit of a crunch (if you get it well done) is some of the best tasting dough I've had in South Florida. I know some people prefer thin and crispy over chewy and doughy, and vice versa. Some pizza doughs can be thin and empty with no flavor, but not this one. The sauce was fine, although I can see how some people might be looking for more of a kick or a tang with the sauce. The cheese was good quality, with good coverage, and the toppings are generously layered on top. The stuffed rolls, accompanied by a nice marinara, are a nice compliment to pasta as well.
To be honest, I think you can go in and make a request, and he can probably make whatever kind of pie you want. I think it's worth it to stop by if you're in the area, you're in the mood for pizza. This place is...

I recently had the displeasure of experiencing the epitome of rudeness at Antonino's Pizza & Pasta, courtesy of the owner, Hector. Our simple mistake of ordering from the wrong location turned into a nightmare of disrespect and disregard.
Upon realizing our error, we immediately called to inform them, only to be met with a dismissive and hostile attitude from the staff member who answered. They not only showed no willingness to assist but had the audacity to hang up on us mid-conversation.
Undeterred, I called back, hoping for a more reasonable response. Instead, I was met with Hector, the owner himself, who took rudeness to a whole new level. He callously declared that our mistake was inconsequential to him, as the food was already prepared and he was getting paid regardless.
What Hector fails to comprehend is that behind every order is a story, and ours was particularly heart-wrenching. We were ordering food for the compassionate nurses caring for our terminally ill aunt in hospice during her final days. Instead of empathy or even basic decency, we were met with contempt.
Needless to say, we will never set foot in this establishment again. It’s disheartening to see such blatant disregard for customer service, especially in a time of vulnerability and need. Save yourself the trouble and patronize a business that values its customers, because Antonio's...
