I see a lot of good reviews, going to be difficult to sound original while writing this. I have been vegan for over 9 years, I have had a vegan quesadilla at only one other place, but the quesadilla from here blows it out of the water. I haven’t had a quesadilla this good since before I went vegan, I used to love getting them from the ale house but no other vegan quesadillas compared. I am happy to say my taste buds have finally been satisfied for that craving which I longed for almost a decade. I asked if the sour cream was vegan, and of course everything is vegan (sometimes in disbelief we just have to double check, a verbal pinch if you will). I don’t write reviews often, but this place is worthy. I will definitely be coming back to try the quesadilla with other meat substitutes when I can (this time I had the chicken substitute). I would have came here for Valentine’s Day, but I didn’t realize it was at the yellow green market which is only open on weekends. It had been a long time since I went to the yellow green market, about a few years, and since then the entrance from Taft street is now closed off. I almost gave up and drove home when I saw the old entrance was closed, but I didn’t give up and entered through Sheridan street. I’m glad I did, or else I wouldn’t have tasted this delicious quesadilla! I was offered complimentary chips and dip to make up for waiting, a kindness I much appreciated. I left feeling full and satisfied, thank you very much :)

I went to my favorite spot Yellow Green Market in Hollywood, FL...I found out my favorite vegan spot (Plant Based Funk) was no longer there so I decided to try another vegan eatery called El Nopalito Vegan Taqueria. It's described as 100% Vegan Mexican dishes that nourishes your body and soul. Excellent customer service, average prices and a variety on the menu. I opted for the 3 Nopalito Tacos.... Choose 3 from: SOY CHORIZO (GF) Savor the smoky, spiced delight of soy-based Mexican sausage, perfectly topped with fresh onion, cilantro, and creamy avocado. SOY CHICHARRÓN (GF) A satisfying twist on tradition—our soy-based pork is paired with zesty cactus salad and avocado for a refreshing bite. CAMPECHANO A vibrant mix of our meat substitutes, topped with,,,, MUSHROOM-BEAN-AVOCADO (GF) Earthy king oyster mushrooms mingle with refried beans and avocado, creating a hearty and delicious experience. FoodieChews review: I chose the first three plus the habanero sauce. Nice presentation. The first two were good but nothing special. The Campechano was tasty! The filling had nice textures and flavor. Grade: Solid B-

TLDR: Best Asada tacos ever! A vegan dream. Atmosphere: inside the Green-Yellow "farmers" market. I wish El Nopalito had a restaurant or a food truck outside of this chaotic market. Note, it will cost $10 to park at this human zoo. However, given all this, the restaurant has made a really cozy corner away from the insanity of the market. Service: super kind, family business. They understand superb customer service. Food: we had the nachos and three different tacos (chorizo, chicharron, and asada). The chicharron had a good flavor but was a bit dry. The chorizo was a burst of that traditional spicy flavor and great. The star is the Asada though. A little sweet, a little salty, moist, and delicious. I've eaten from the Florida Keys to Seattle including Mexican food hubs in Texas and California. This place rivals some of the highest rated free standing restaurants. If I was a millionaire, I would invest in them opening a restaurant.
