Omg why did I do this to myself! Falafel awful - grease city. Seems like they make them because of shape but I've only had fava bean falafel flat not the traditional chickpea version . Hummus & Pita - average. If it doesn't make me sick then I would say it's fine and can pass. Lamb Shawarma wrap - no garlic sauce. Their sauce is a white sauce with close to no flavor served with my falafel also when it said it would come with tahini. Lamb - soft, slight middle eastern flavored - if it doesn't make me sick it's edible. No pickles in it which is the best part of a shawarma sandwich. In my opinion don't say it comes in it if you don't have them. Soft Mediterranean style pita. Similar to the bagged kind at ShopRite. I should have went to Evans in cliffwood for falafel and hummus. Atleast I would have enjoyed my food even if it cost more. This was a waste of money. Nice clean place tho. They need to up their game. They are not professionals...
Read moreLet’s begin with the smell, not a scent I want to be welcomed with in a food establishment. My husband and I were the only people there. ( 🚩) as we debated on should we stay or go the waiter approached us so we kinda felt obligated. No water, not anything. 😏 this place is a breakfast & lunch spot (more like lunch only) because they don’t really serve typical breakfast food (pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, cornbeef hash, hash brown grits, etc….) anyway…. I won’t be returning, not when we have much better options...

The three brothers who run the place couldn’t have been more charming. They pampered our baby and entertained our 8 year old, chatted with us like old friends, and made the entire experience feel special. It’s the kind of hospitality that’s rare these days and so appreciated.
This is exactly the kind of neighborhood restaurant Holmdel needs: heart, flavor, and community. We can’t wait to return and dive into the Mediterranean menu next time!
Highly recommend. Bring your appetite and...
