Allocco Park — Attraction in Holmdel Township

I used to come to this park everyday back when I was 18 or so to jog on the track. Very nice place to walk and jog. I never thought to bring my children here since back then I cant remember if there was a play ground or not it isn't part of my.memory of the place. Theres one now and I decided to check it out to shake things up earlier today and half of it was roped off with orange netting. Assuming bc of the covid situation. Half of it has fallen down so I wasn't sure if it was ok to go on or not. Children were disappointed and i wasn't going to tear down the netting lol. I follow the rules these days. Only complaint is that every time we go there my kids end up sick bc it seems like other parents like to bring their kids there when they're sick. This recently installed ALL Abilities park is fantastic! We recently visited this park, and my kids had such a great time, they keep asking to go back every day. 😊 The roller slide is a favorite for my SPD kids. There's also an old school style playground metal merry-go-round (or the "Round-a-bout" as my kids call it), but with a modern twist. I highly recommend a visit, whether your child has special needs or not. It's an everyone playground, and that's nice to see. I used to run at the track here every day after work when I was 18. I'm not about the whole gym vibes rather be outside walking around. It doesn't matter that the track is worn out and bumpy. Last time we stopped there hoping the little play area was open but it was gone! So it was exciting to see that they tore the old one to replace it with something better!
