I just called this place and the guy answering the phone was completely rude. I ordered a chicken sandwich, which was listed with fries. I ask the guy can I sub a salad. He cut me off and told me not to get smart with him, it is midnight, you get what you order and stop being funny. I then said to him that my doctor told me that I should not eat fried foods anymore. He then said, "hold on." I hung up. How in the world can someone get mad at another person for trying to be healthy and to top it up, they serve salads. If you do not want to be in the restaurant business and lack customer service, just simply quit. Move on. But do not insult your customers. I am writing this review just minutes after having this encounter.
Counter Response:
Thank you for your response. I am glad you confirmed that I called and hung up. Let me ask you a question. Would you continue to give your hard earned money that you work for every day in the heat of an existing inflation in this country, to a business that was rude and demeaning? You literally called me a joke when I asked you about a salad. I told you that my doctor said that my triglycerides were high and you told me to stop playing games. Furthermore, you missed the entire point. It is not about whether you can manage to get your manager to approve a salad instead of fries…it is your version of humanity. You do not know what people are going through in the other side of your phone. I was really hungry and I hung up because it sounds like you do not appreciate your customers — the ones that keep you working and in business. And, from the reviews, I also see that others have had this challenge too.
I managed restaurants for nine years from the east coast to the west coast. I would never treat a customer the way you treated me last night. In fact, I just went home and found something in the fridge and saved $20 for me and my spouse.
If you want training on how to serve customers and/or a script on how to treat customers let me know. I have been a corporate trainer and a national trainer on how to treat people with dignity and respect. I do not mind helping for free in this way, so that other customers can get the dignity and respect that they deserve when they pay for it with their hard earned money. And, I am not joking. I want to spread a sense of humanity on this earth and I do not mind doing my part to support. Just let me know and I will call your shop and see where we can turn the curve because last night, was not effective at all.
Lastly, I used to tell my bartenders, servers, hosts, and anyone in my trainings that for every one person who has a bad experience, they tell 10 of others, those 10 tell 5, and those 5 tell 1. At the end of the day, 311 people have heard about the bad experience. 75% of people who do have a bad experience never actually tell anyone at the restaurant. That was in the 90s. Now, with the internet, many people see these reviews and quite frankly, the neighborhood is not that big. So, revamping attitudes and your approach to your customers will be a welcome change and a solid strategic direction that I humbly suggest your company consider.people pay thousands of dollars to hear me train. I can offer you for free just to spread the good nature of positive...
Read moreFirst time called ordered a pizza, tortellini soup, and a chicken Caesar salad. Driver came, no pizza. Called it in and verified pizza wasn't ordered the first time according to the girl who answered the phone. Ok, fine. Reordered the pizza. At this point we start pulling out the rest of the items ordered. Grab the salad knowing it was larger than a single serving and planning to split it in 2 with a bowl. Pull out the toppings and find multiple pieces of wilted lettuce that was towards the bottom and not near the chicken (I know that pieces of lettuce near hot chicken are going to discolor but these pieces were not near chicken and did not have the same hot chicken wilt that would be expected). Then opened the soup, guess what, not the correct soup. I opened chicken noodle not chicken tortellini as I had ordered. So I called again and told them I that I had the wrong soup and was willing to give it back uneaten for the correct soup. I was strongly told by the woman on the phone that I was wrong and that she put in exactly what my husband had ordered. Mind you he was literally reading off of a screenshot he had take of the order. Then I asked to speak to a manager who insulted me and accused me of insulting his businesses because I called about both the pizza then the soup and salad. We tried multiple times to try to compromise with him then he hung up up my husband, to which I called back and it took several attempts to have the manager give me 10 seconds of his time from assaulting me with insults to simply tell him to cancel the re-ordered pizza and I would take the hit from the salad and wrong soup. Worst experience ever and will absolutely NEVER do business with...
Read morei used to love this place. i probably ordered at least twice a month and have always gotten the same thing with zero issue. they just went under new management and you can absolutely tell they cheated out on every single aspect of the restaurant. not only did every single food item i looked at have an increase in price but what i received also had a severe decrease in quality. the pizza looked like crap but i was hoping it would still taste good and like the city pizza i’ve always had and it tastes dry and cheap. it is straight up not good at all. the cheesy bread had a $3 increase which is just crazy and also looks unappealing and i don’t even want to try it after tasting that pizza. along with these price increases and cheap products, the delivery itself was super unprofessional this time. the driver didn’t even bother getting out of the car and was too busy talking to his passenger to notice me waiting in the rain for my dinner. then, he had me take my own food out of the pizza carrier. just feels super unprofessional. i can’t continue to order what used to be my favorite...
