I recently had a rather unpleasant experience with Domino's on Appleton St in Holyoke, MA. On July 3, 2023, I ordered a pizza for pickup. After picking up the pizza and arriving home, I sat down to enjoy my meal. Unfortunately, my appetite quickly turned to disgust when I discovered a dead cockroach underneath one of the pizza slices.
Naturally, I was taken aback and immediately called Domino's to report the issue. I requested to speak with the manager, and to my surprise, the person who answered the phone claimed to be the manager. I described the situation and shared my concern about finding a dead roach in my pizza.
Rather than addressing the issue seriously, the so-called manager instantly dismissed my complaint, stating that the roach must have gotten into the pizza box from my car during the ride home and died under the pizza. According to him, it was physically impossible for a roach to get into their pizza boxes because they were kept elevated. This explanation left me feeling both frustrated and insulted.
As a customer, I expected a more empathetic response and a willingness to investigate the matter. It is disheartening to see that instead of taking responsibility for the incident, the manager resorted to blaming me and my car for the presence of the roach in my pizza. Such an attitude undermines the trust and confidence I previously had in Domino's as a reliable pizza provider.
While I appreciate the manager's apology, it is important for businesses to handle such incidents with greater professionalism. I strongly believe that customer satisfaction should be the top priority, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, my experience at this particular Domino's location fell short of that expectation.
I hope that Domino's takes this review as an opportunity for improvement. Ensuring the cleanliness and quality of their food is essential for customer satisfaction. It is my sincere hope that they reevaluate their response to incidents like mine and take appropriate measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
Overall, based on my recent experience, I cannot recommend the Domino's on Appleton St in Holyoke, MA. There are other pizza options in the area that prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain a higher level of...

Read moreI have ordered from this location multiple times in the last 2 weeks and this is the second time there was a mess up. The first time my entire pizza was crushed when it got to me. Today, I placed my order for a specific time which was well in advance as I work. They neglected to tell me that even though I did this they only had 1 driver available and I would have to wait over an hour to get my food. Additionally, after delivering to my job 5 times in a month, they decided to act as if they didn't know this was a place of business and not ring a doorbell or knock on a door. When I called to advise the mgr. of this she stated they will try to do better and hung up in my face! My co-workers and I missed lunch and our food, when delivered, was ice cold. I will never be ordering from here...
