Davidson's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Homer Glen

The to-go-service was awful. Bartender handed me one bag and when I got home, I realized they did not give me my whole order. When i returned, bartender stated there were multiple bags on the table but how was I supposed to know those weren't for other patrons especially when she handed me the one bag. I asked them to reheat or replace the food since i had to drive back and over 30 to 40 min had elapsed. They refused or gave a stink about it. He said they would microwave it and it would take "awhile.". Classy response.I talked to the manager, xander, and he asked how he could fix things. He couldn't even do something as simple as reheat on the oven or replace. I wasn't even asking for my money back but just to correct their mistake. I asked to talk to a higher up and apparently his parents own the place. All the more reason i would expect him to step up and do the right thing. Also, they put olives in the nachos when i told them to put them on the side because my wife is allergic. I will never eat there again or recommend this...

Just left this place very disappointed! I have lived near this restaurant for years and finally decided to give it a try. I walked in and the place was not busy at all. The very young hostess with inappropriate dress attire (super short shorts) walked us into the patio area. She looked like she was in Lala land and not paying attention to anything. We waited 20 minutes and not one person acknowledged our table let alone our presence. We gathered ourselves and walked out. One of the workers which I'm assuming was the manager started scrambling and heading for the door as if though we were skipping out on the check. I walked back in and told him, we were leaving since nobody even acknowledged us. He just looked at me and didn't even offer an apology. Always a great spot for lunch and dinner with the family, drinks with friends or to watch any and all sports! The food is always good, prices are great and the staff so friendly! Some of my favorites are the Tacos, filet sliders, wraps and of course the cheese curds and my favorite Pinot Noir! Yum! Last week was the first time that I've ever thrown a large party there and we had the newer back party area. Everyone of the staff was so helpful in the planning and with suggestions for food. We were able to decorate the area and there's also a second bar right to serve your guests. The set up is great! The food was so delicious! All of our guests had a great time, as did I!
