Mmabe's Cafe — Restaurant in Homestead

My sister, her husband my niece and I went to this small place on Christmas Day. Let me tell you, the food is amazing! We tried the tamales and I felt like I was back in Honduras. One of the best tamales I have tried.

The guy (the owner I think I’m Not sure) was extremely helpful and nice. He was there all by himself. The food was great.

He then gave us a complementary lemon pie. Extremely sweet and clean place.

Good food. Beware: menu prices are not always accurate. Prices changed but menus were not updated. Service was definitely lacking. No utensils and no napkins. Had to request the utensils. and asked for napkins twice. No menus given and when asked for a menu, only were brought one for the table. He said they dont usually give them out. I love Honduran food, this is the most authentic I've had in homestead. Family owned business and small but most of the best foods come from these types of environments.
