Beautiful views! Amazing food! Lovely staff! Everyone is so helpful and informative. The guava French toast was flavorful and sweet and definitely a fair portion for the price! It was filling and decadent and the ultimate way to satisfy your sweet tooth. I ordered Two mimosas with guava juice and the avocado toast. I added a poached egg and bacon. It was absolutely delicious. It was a little messy, but it was totally worth it. And of course it’s gonna be messy when you order a poached egg. The ingredients tasted fresh and the presentation was neat. 10/10 Mike and Jake were so helpful. Jake was very informative and patient about my questions. I am very picky and servers don’t always love that; but, Jake was attentive and patient and very professional. Mike was just as attentive—bringing us extra napkins and serving my mimosa with a smile. He also helped point me to the bathroom when I had to wash off the yolk from my poached egg. The girls at the host stand told me where it was upon arrival, but I appreciated the guidance regardless because it was in one ear out the other because I was starving.LOL. I highly recommend this location to anyone staying in the area!

Review from 01/12/2025 Ordered a Kona Longboard Lager on Draft $9 and a Lulu’s Bloody Mary $13 but made with tequila instead of vodka. Beer tasted like BUTTER AND VINEGAR. Like the line just got cleaned and no one bothered to flush it out. Usually it gets flushed by pouring about two pitchers. Most restaurants and bars do that automatically because they don’t want to lose business. This guys went the other way. The bartender was very nice but said she asked the manager and two other bartenders to tried the beer and concluded that “Beer is fine and that it was probably my first time trying it”. She then proceeded to tell me that the manager had taken the beer off my bill. Like, seriously you expect me to pay for that shit that I took one sip from? Then I realized she charged me an extra $7 for make a Bloody Maria instead of a Bloody Mary. I never asked for high end tequila or for double. It definitely didn’t taste extraordinary. See photo attached. In kind words, stay away!!!! I didn’t tried their food but you can get a nice place at the rail to lookout the beach. Review from 01/15/2025 Went back for lunch since it’s the closest place that offers both beer and food after Diamond Head. Sat at the rail. We asked to sample two draft beer (Rice Breaker Pilsner and Pineapple Mana Wheat) and they were perfect! No vinegar taste. We also ordered the Fresh Fish Tacos as an app and they were delicious. I prefer them a little bit to the spicy side but the fish was fresh and juicy. Nothing a little dash of Tabasco cannot fix. Then we realized Happy Hour is from 2-4 so we waited 10 minutes to order more. From the HH menu we got both Ahi Poke and Spicy Ahi Poke. Spicy Ahi Poke was more flavorful than the regular one but I asked our server for the spicy sauce and it fixed the flavor. Also $2 off those beers we initially ordered. If you love the full flavor of draft beer, I recommend asking for a sample. But it still doesn’t undo the overpriced Bloody Maria and bartenders and bar manager condescending attitude towards tourists. Like we don’t know any better but drink your dirty beer.

The food was subpar at best. We ordered 3 dishes: the shack shrimp, steak tacos, and the lulu moco. The shack shrimp was ok, but felt the sauce did not mesh well with it. Also, tails aside, it seemed like they did not de-shell the shrimp entirely before cooking as we would find pieces of shell getting stuck between our teeth. The steak tacos were dry, and lacked flavor. We decided to use the sauce from the shack shrimp to try and make it more enjoyable but that was a lost cause. The lulu moco was also a disappointment. The patty was dry and flavorless, the egg was over cooked, and there was not enough sauce. Compared to other places that serve loco moco as a dish, this was the worst one. The server was ok. Did the bare minimum: Took our order, brought the check. Oddly enough, he came to check in on us almost immediately after the food to ask "How does it look?" But did not return to ask about how it tasted. We were also not offered water, and instead had to request it at the end of the meal. Perhaps he thought we did not need it considering we had ordered drinks, but felt having water as well feels like it should be pretty standard. The drinks were good. We ordered the lava flow and mango flow. The live music and view from our counter seat were enjoyable too. Overall, I think this place can be skipped on a visit to Hawaii unless you want somewhere to grab a drink while listening to live music near the beach as those were the only saving graces of this establishment.

I would give this place between three to four stars. Overall: it’s not a bad choice, but there are many better options within a short walking distance. We (two adults and one kid) came here for late dinner on New Year’s Eve, and there was no line. They gave us crayons and drawing paper, which is good for the kid. We ordered coconut shrimp ($14), prime rib ($32) and loco moco ($15). 15 mins later, all the food was served. Appetizer and entrees were all served at the same time. The server didn’t bother to ask who has which entree and left all the food on top of the drawing paper. Food: coconut shrimps are on the sweet side but I think it’s delicious. As for the $32 prime rib, the server didn’t ask how we’d like it done, so I suppose it comes standard. The steak was a little salty and not juicy. The fat on the steak doesn’t spread evenly. The temperature of the steak is colder than how a good steak should be. The rice that comes with the steak is way too salty. We only had one bite of it. Loco moco is ok, nothing surprising. Atmosphere: it’s definitely loud at night. There are live bands playing sometimes. You can only see the ocean from one side of the restaurant, so most of customers won’t be able to see the view. Service: servers seem very busy. She only checked on us once, which is ok. We don’t have any requests.

We’re currently visiting Lulu’s Waikiki, and the atmosphere here is very casual and relaxed. We sat near the window — and even though we arrived around 9 PM and couldn’t see the ocean clearly, it was still interesting to watch people walk by along the street while enjoying a drink. We ordered two cocktails: I had the Lulu’s Top Shelf Margarita with the Cadillac float, which was delicious — sweet, strong, and tropical. My husband had a more classic cocktail — simple and bold, more on the beachy side. During our stay, there was live music — a girl playing guitar and singing beautifully, adding to the laid-back island vibe. We didn’t have a reservation, but the staff was kind and welcoming, and we were seated without a problem. This spot is great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and I imagine the ocean view in the morning would be amazing. The menu offers a bit of everything — burgers, cocktails, and more — so there’s definitely something for everyone. The place does feel a little older and could use a refresh, but it has that authentic Waikiki charm. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxed local bar with live music and a beachfront location.

Great spot right close to the beach in Waikīkī - Closer to the Zoo end of the beach. Our server was excellent and made some great recommendations. I can’t remember his name possibly Matt ? Either way guy was awesome. I was tempted to order the Miso Butterfish but he recommended the catch of the day which happened to be Ono and it ended up being cheaper and a larger portion - great advice by him. My wife got the garlic shrimp. Both were solid, didn’t really blow us away. The ono was a tad dry and over seasoned imo but nothing too bad. Garlic shrimp didn’t have a ton of garlic flavour compared to the shrimp trucks we’ve been to but again, was decent. Vibes were great in there, they were just setting up some live music before we left. Overall I’d definitely recommend coming here especially if you’re looking for a spot post beach day. The beer and Mai Tai I had was awesome. I’m not going to say it’s the best food I’ve had (it was probably a 3.5/5 or 7/10) but the service was definitely some of the best we’ve had on Oahu - our water never went empty and we sure needed it after a long beach day !
