An Unforgettable Dining Experience in Waikīkī! During my recent visit to Waikīkī, Honolulu, I had the pleasure of dining at Cheeseburger in Paradise, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm aloha spirit that instantly made me feel at home. The tropical, laid-back atmosphere perfectly captures the essence of Hawaii, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered their signature Cheeseburger in Paradise, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, and topped with just the right amount of fresh ingredients. The combination of flavors was truly paradise on a plate. I also tried the sweet potato fries, which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—absolutely delicious! But what truly made this dining experience memorable was the outstanding service provided by the staff, especially our server, Joe. Joe was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that our meal was perfect. He took the time to recommend dishes, checked in regularly without being intrusive, and even shared some local tips that enhanced our Waikīkī experience. It's rare to find a server who is so genuinely invested in making sure guests have a great time, and Joe certainly delivered. Overall, Cheeseburger in Paradise is a must-visit when you're in Waikīkī. Whether you're looking for a fantastic burger, a refreshing drink, or simply a place to unwind and soak in the Hawaiian vibes, this place has it all. And if you're lucky enough to have Joe as your server, you're in for an extra special treat! Mahalo to the team at Cheeseburger in Paradise for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to return on my next visit to Waikīkī!

Specialising in Cheeseburgers, this place is close to the main action on Waikiki beach. Entry is directly off the main street and the entrance is wide with good table spacing. It's all on one level so the disabled score is excellent. The menus are simple and easy to follow. If you're not interested in a burger, there is other, fairly standard fare available. I had their signature cheeseburger and my wife had fish tacos. The food took a little while to arrive but the restaurant was quite busy. Initially I felt that the portion size was a little smaller than expected, especially for a signature dish but we didn't leave hungry, so it was fine. Their burgers are all served "medium' which is fine and they come with fries, which were hot and nicely seasoned. Ketchup is provided for you to sauce your own burger to taste. The fish tacos came as a plate of three and were tuna. The fish was fresh and they tasted good. They included diced tomatoes as a topping and sliced jalapeno was provided. Soft drinks (sodas) are bottomless and cocktails, beers and spirits are also available. There's a bar in here as well as normal seating. The cocktails are generous servings and are quite nice. They are a little different owing to some of the pina colada ingredients being processed locally. Pricing is appropriate relevant to other local establishments. Service is good. The waiter noticed that I was having difficulty getting sauce out of the container and appeared at my side with a replacement in seconds, this is pretty good. Atmosphere is loud. They have a lot of music which is fine and unfortunately a barmaid who was gossiping for some time with patrons a few feet away at a much higher volume than the music. Highly recommended.

I was in Waikiki for the day on a cruise and went to Cheeseburger in Paradise on a great recommendation from a friend in our travel group. I consider myself a hamburger connoisseur having eaten thousands of hamburgers all over the world. You are always looking for that perfect blend of quality meat, cooked to order with just the right hamburger accompaniments. Well the burger I received in this visit was hands down, THE BEST BURGER, I have EVER TASTED. The patty was large in scale, juicy and very tasty. The accompaniments of thick bacon slices along with BBQ sauce and giant onion ring were perfect. Cheeseburger in Paradise has a great corner location on the the main drag of Kalakaua & Kealohilani avenues right across from a beautiful view of the beach of Waikiki. What could be better? The atmosphere inside is lively and happy. The menu has something to offer every palate. If you are just in need of an adult beverage instead of a meal, belly up to the long bar and enjoy your favorite sport on the many TV screens featured behind the bar. So if you are in Waikiki and looking for a great place to satisfy that hunger and thirst, look no further than Cheeseburger in Paradise. It can satisfy both and give you great views as well. Aloha!

Very good food, awesome location. However, server is EXTREMELY rude about "tip". It was a female server, INSISTED to circle the tip amount even before we pay with the card. I was with 2 friends from Korea, and we did look like tourists, maybe that was why. I politely told server that we will add the tip after we pay and get our card back. She gave an attitude, and when we got the card back with merchant/customer copy, I put the tip (slightly more than 17%, to meet xx.00 figure.) As soon as we wrote the tip down and about to leave the restaurant, EVEN BEFORE WE GET UP FROM THE SEAT, SHE RAN UP TO US AND OPENED THE RECEIPT, IN ORDER TO CHECK HOW MUCH WE PUT. I found this extremely uncomfortable and rude, but did not even say anything since I did not want my friends to experience some sort of discrimination (?) (For tourists who doesn't speak english). Anyways! Long story short! They kinda force the tip in a wrong way. Food is good!! Did not like the server's attitude. It was obviously rude, and gave pressure on tip, and did not trust customers. (Kinda understandable since there's some customers who does not tip them at all.. maybe traumatized? But still!)

For me and my family's 8th and final restaurant experience in Hawaii, we passed by this joint SOO many times. And we thought about doing this place on Friday but chose Teddy's Better Burgers over it. But tonight was finally the night that we try Cheeseburger in Paradise. Let's see how this very close by restaurant lives up to the expectations. Since it was pricy, my mother and sister decided to split their signature burger, The "Cheeseburger In Paradise". It was technically your basic burger but since all of us did not like any vegetables on our burgers, we just got them plain. This burger just has Colby Jack Cheese and Mayo. I can tell you that these are way better then Teddy's. The burgers are juicy and cooked to perfection, which was medium well. But my burger was the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with an Onion Ring. The BBQ Sauce was a Pineapple BBQ Sauce, which made the burger taste SOOO good, even with the Onion Ring. We are sad to leave Hawaii but are glad we chose this joint as out last! We will miss you Hawaii! Overall on the 10 point scale, we gave this joint a 9.5/10

Visited Cheeseburger in Paradise at the Waikiki location and had a nice experience both from service and food. As normal COVID is having an impact on this restaurant along with all others in this area, but front desk service was efficient and received a table within minutes of arrival even though no reservations and peak dinner time. Table service was immediate with drinks all around and food orders using the online QR code. Drinks and food were delivered timely and was delicious all around the table. Poke dish was the outstanding dish with a mild shoyo flavor and the Ahi was super fresh, in addition the Tuna Salad wrap was also excellent with the tuna. All other dishes were very good. Pricing is high, but attributed to the location on Waikiki beach, and would definitely return, which we did later in our vacation stay. Service and food were excellent as the first time. Hint for your visit – request an inside street side table for people watching. No reservations are available so expect a possible wait.
