McDonald's — Restaurant in Honolulu

It was quite an experience, typically I like going to McDonald’s but after coming here( July 31) in McDonald’s located at Valkenburgh Street, it change my mind.

First thing first was the staff were rude name (Joyce). We asked kindly to separate the creamer and sugar of the coffee since the kiosk only have the option ( special order) but when we got our coffee they didn’t do it and when we told that to “Joyce” about she just starred as if we asked them to separate. So I asked if they can replace it or at least have a cup with hot water and she said normally we charge for a hot water as if it was our fault.

Then the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place was absolutely disaster. Table were not wipe and sanitize and the rest room we also gross, it has a bad odor even right outside of the entrance of the rest room.

Also, both garbages was full.

Definitely not satisfied with the service of the staff and the cleanliness of the building especially...

If I could give no stars I would, this mcdonalds has one horrible employee who always has a horrible attitude & gets orders wrong. On 8/12/21 at around 3pm I wanted an order of unsalted fries and unfortunately I didn’t get her name. But she told me they were too busy to drop new fries so if I wanted unsalted fries, I could go somewhere else. Never in my life have I heard that, especially since I worked in the fast food industry before and that type of response is completely unacceptable. This morning on 8/13/21 at 6am, I wanted a large frappe and that’s what I ordered through the speaker, I get it multiple times through the week. And when I got to the window, she gives me a medium and I kindly say “ oh, i wanted a large” and instead of correcting their mistake, she gives me attitude and says “it says medium” and points at her screen and rolls her eyes. I go to this Mickey Ds all da time and this braddah at da drive-thru, buff filipino boy with one mean goatee small kine shy but real nice. he try talk but his voice stay all soft, like he scared fo mess up. Prolly one mainland Filo cuz he sounded like one black guy thru the speaker but the order come out all good and quick tho so no problem. I think maybe he mo better in da back cuz look like he stressed when he gotta talk to people. I get it talking to people all day not easy but dis guy Ray(?) look like he rather be anywhere else. maybe in the kitchen, he can jus focus on da food, no need worry bout taking orders and payments an shet. plus filipino braddahz always know how fo cook mean kine grindz so i bet he would kill it back dea. Solid guy still!!

But for real food always solid, fries crispy, coke always hit da spot. no complaints, jus feel kinda bad for da boy, hope he find one spot dat...
