If you’re in the airport area and considering old style Chinese noodles or rice plates, Mini Garden Express may satisfy your hunger. They moved from Ranch 99 in 2023 to a small strip mall less than a mile from the airport.

This is not a sit-down Jade, Kirin, Fook Yoon or Kapiolani Seafood quality, but for the price you can’t go wrong.

Also, if you’re looking for food to take on a flight, this strip mall may satisfy every family member’s taste with Subway, Bale, Aloha Sushi, Nimitz Korean BBQ, Nimitz Mart and Papa’s Deli & Bento.

Food is ok, but don’t expect any service. Went to the restaurant with mom , at the end of the meal I put all plates and dirty bowls in the tray and tidy it up since there’s no signs said self service , even the customer before me left everything on the table after the meal. BUT, you know what ? The front lady told me in Chinese : IN America you need to clean your own plates! Excuse me ? As a Chinese American I’ve been living in the US over 20 years and not even one time have I encountered something like this. And it’s in a super rude tone ! Never again , if this is your way to even treat your own race people ,I don’t expect anything better would happen to the restaurant. Oh you can’t even refill the soft drink which is absolutely absurd at all without any notice ! And after all the reviews I have read , no wonder you got so many 1 star reviews ! BTW: In the USA, customer service don’t talk in your rude tone, you should go back to Hong Kong to serve where everyone’s attitude just...

On 05.17.23 we ate in, I ordered 4 plates cost was about $59.00. I asked for 2 hot mustard, the lady at cashier sed I can come back with the mustard container to fill it up when that one pau… so I thought ok, I can do that… before we were done eating, I ordered a take out plate, an additional $14.00. I then asked her to refill my used mustard container for my left overs, and asked for a new mustard for the take home plate, which I bought for the parentals, she refused to give me an extra mustard, she sed why I need two I already have one, I sed it’s for the new plate… she threw the mustard to me… I was like I just spent $70 and I cannot have an extra mustard….. this lady was soo rude and SELFISH, I couldn’t believe, after spending $70, I was refused an extra mustard…mind you, those mustard cups are the very small ones. That was my first and will be my last...
