Taco Bell — Restaurant in Honolulu

As a reminder, a four star review for me is not a bad thing. Anything higher than a three star is better than average.

I went to Taco Bell today to grab a quick bite to eat on my way to the pet store. One thing that I noticed today, in particular, is that it wasn't nearly as crowded as some of the other times whenever I pass by. Sometimes, at night, the line can wrap around the building and into the street. I guess it just shows how much people like Taco Bell in this area.

I got a couple of crunchy tacos and a drink and it didn't really set me back too much. Eating here is always predictable and you'll always know what you're getting. Nothing to really complain about.

The parking lot is a surface lot, but if there is no parking, you could also park downstairs and just walk upstairs. There's tons of ample parking though.

Do you keep in mind that they occasionally close the drive-through early by a couple minutes so I wouldn't wait till the last minute to get your late...

Mannnnn, I am a huge fan of Taco Bell! To be honest it has always been my secret pleasure. So, today we decided to hike KoKo Crater but first we needed to fill up for the adventure ahead. I saw a Taco Bell employee walking near by and knew we needed to find the Taco Bell! I whipped out my phone and went to my handy dandy Taco Bell mobile app. I quickly placed an order and we headed to the Taco Bell location.

When we arrived I was greeted by a nice employee at the counter, but first I noticed a hand sanitizer station at the door. (Standard and should be standard at all places to eat now a days). My food was ready almost immediately when we walked in and it was 10/10 what I expected. This review is mainly for the covid safety of this place and I would rate 10/10 on the safety meter.

I am amazed this place is still open. The closing hours are completely random, depends on who’s working, and how many people are actually working. 90% of the time, the inside is closed due to lack of staff. Orders are inconsistent, always gotta drive back. Food portions got a lot smaller, while the prices are ridiculously high. For example I I order the chicken or steak quesadilla over numerous times over the years, and now you’re paying what? 6-8 dollars for a very small amount of protein and barely any cheese, it’s pretty much a grilled tortilla with sauce for half of it, then the other half is couple pieces of chicken or steak. Taco Bell, remember your place, you’re fast food, “NOT” gourmet!!! The taste overall is under par. Only positive is, couple of the workers are actually nice. It’s not their fault and they don’t choose the prices...
