Zippy's Kaimuki — Restaurant in Honolulu

9 pm ordered a zip PAC and hamburger steak with a large Pepsi. The staff? Well, they all need to go to a HOW TO "CUSTOMER SERVICE" 101 Class. The Cook! Not a chef, needs to quit hiding his over cooked hamburger steak in gravy. No smiles No Thank your until I said Thank you. The chick who waits for the meals and calls the number doesn't wait for anyone, she mentions the meal than just leaves the food there and goes back to wait for the next meal. How the hell do you screw up on a hamburger steak? All of you there tonight had some kind of stick up their behinds. You don't like your job? Don't take it out on the consumer,. Stay home and mope don't bring it to work. Show some class as well as pride In what and how you do it. ALL OF YOU WHO WORKED TONIGHT,, HEY YOU TOOK THE JOB! YOU DIDNT HAVE TO, BUT YOU ALL DID. SO KNOCK OFF THE "WOE IS MY JOB" And THE HELL WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE,, Ill show them all who's, who's.. WELL YOU SURE DID SHOW ALOT OF PEOPLE TONIGHT., "That you guys are worthless" .. I like Zippys and have been going there for years. I bought $200.00 in benefit chili tickets, cause it was a good cause, and thinking thinking I would use them when I didn't have time to cook. The first 2 times was great but on the 3rd time they didn't fill up the containers. The manager said it was because the containers changed. I would like to accept that reason but this has happened before when we went there for the Kaimuki Christmas parade. My family member got a large chili with crackers and the container was the usual size but only filled half way. He was still hungry and I felt sorry for him. We were having a good time so we didn't complain. This is a really cheap move and will try other locations. Maybe we will have to reconsider going...

[SERVICE] Really good service here that definitely sets it apart from other locations nearby. That being said he usually do go later at night but even on a Friday night when the lines are long we usually don't have to wait long. Our orders have always been correct so far.

[FOOD] Yes Zippy's food is on the expensive side. Have had no complaints about the taste of the food. FAVORITES include the: CHILI (love that you are able to get it with no beans, plus they have a vegetarian version), GARLIC BREAD (you can actually get side orders of it too). TIP: You can ask for CHEESE & ONIONS on the side!!
