Kaimuki Shopping Center — Local services in Honolulu

Kaimuki Shopping Center is very old, dilapidated, doesn't have much to offer, and is far from handicap accessible, unless you're driving. I bus almost everywhere. The entrances to the few stores (a drug store and a grocery store) and hole in the wall eateries are in the back, on the parking lot. There are 2 elevators to bring you up to the 2nd and 3rd floors but they don't exactly bring you to the street level. There are about 6 stairs to do that. Or you can take the ramp all the way through the parking lot (heading AWAY from the street), and the get to a sidewalk. Or you can walk up the narrow driveway, past the dumpster, where cars are driving in and out of the lot. So basically it is not handicap accessible, is dilapidated, and...

The entitled, richie rich snobs next door ruin the parking here. I always see them in their expensive luxury SUVs flooding the parking lot to pick up or drop off their spawn. Even double parking in the middle of the isle because rules don't apply to them. This is not overflow parking for Sacred Hearts Academy. With all their private school money how about building more parking instead of yet another gym. At peak times it can be impossible. Peak time is right when school let's out. Five stars if...
