Farmer's Basket — Restaurant in Hoover

First I want to say that 95% of the time the service is amazing here but on the days that the regular managers are off I had the following experience

Because I'm on the carnivore diet most days I just have their chicken I eat there because they give me a good portion (3 spoons) for a reasonable price

Tuesday the woman they had working there. Grabbed a small container. Put one spoon of chicken it and try to Charge me the same price.I usually pay for a decent portion. I politely said no.Thank you and walked away.

I Then sat down to try to figure out what else might be good. While I was sitting down, I watched your serve as Hispanic family and give them a decent portion For the right Price .

I've been a customer there for the better part of a year because they're in the mall attached to my work. Although the service is normally good and the food is Excellent.I will never spend my monday there...

I have been really sick lately and doctors cannot figure out what's wrong with me and I was frantically trying to find soup at the mall because I was working and needed to eat but could not eat solids and no one had soup. Thankfully a woman at the farmers basket caught my attention and was very motherly and sweet about it and said she made some homemade chicken noodle soup for her coworkers and gave me some. She is the reason I feel better at this moment and I just wanted to say how sweet she was and how thankful I am that she found me in my state of panic. Their sautéed honey chicken is STILL undefeated. Idk how they get the breading so crispy and still maintain its integrity when it’s drenched in that wonderful sauce. They have a variety of sides to choose from; I didn’t expect so many vegetable options in the middle of the mall. It’s not gonna be your grandma’s cooking but I’ll be damned if it’s still not good by food court standards.
