Sneaky Pete's Hotdogs — Restaurant in Hoover

An american classic, simple menu, easy to order, all you do is just head inside and tell them if you want to-go or dine in. They have a variety of different foods including burritos, biscuits, and hotdogs in the morning and then burgers, chili cheese fries, and more for lunch. It's no wonder this is a popular spot to go to in Alabama. 📍

Miscellaneous: Open at 7 am and close at 5 pm on Monday thru Friday, on Saturday, they close at 4 pm and they are closed on Sunday, pretty reasonable hours, parking is easily accessible to the public, just make sure to look both ways before crossing. 😅

Service/Food: Excellent, fast, efficiently well-made, you order your food, get a drink, then they'll call out your number but it gets done so quick depending on what you order, there is a great number of employees here and you should appreciate them as much as they appreciate you.

My family and I are originally from Alabama and have been Sneaky Pete fans for many, many years and there have been some special things that have happened in our lives over the years of which Sneaky Pete has had a memorable part. With that being said, we know quite a bit about what a Sneak should taste like. We were unable to get any Sneaks for a few years now, due to the fact that we had relocated to Georgia and there were no locations in or close to our area. We recently moved back to Alabama and one of the first things we did was locate a Sneaky Pete. My, my were we highly disappointed ☹️ So far, we've tried them at 2 different locations and the disappointment was the same. The dog weiner tasted raw with no flavor as if they were taken directly out of the packaging and the famous Sneaky Pete sauce was void of the potent famous Sneaky Pete flavor that makes a Sneak a Sneak. My wife and I have decided that if this is what Sneaky Pete's has devolved into, we won't be purchasing from them anymore and just chalk it up to another fond memory gone by...

I don't give 5 *s rarely ever, however, this time I absolutely have to!!!!! This Sneaky Pete's is hands down is positively the best franchise location in and around the Birmingham, AL area!!! When I walked into this location the first thing I noticed was this is the most spacious, neat and spotless restaurants. The male cashier welcomed me as soon as I opened the door and stepped inside. He took my order immediately, the male cook began preparing my food as soon as the cashier told him what my order was. Within 5 minutes, the best hot dogs (from any of the locations) I have ever enjoyed were ready to go as a pickup order!! The staff is so friendly and engaging, and hands down the dogs were fantastic when I got them home and my family ate!! The buns usually get soggy with the sauce and sauerkraut kraut but not these! They were still dry and fresh after I had to microwave and devour them and hr. and a ½ after I got them!!!
