This place used to be my favorite spot. We used to order from this place three times a week. But lately things have been changing the last few pizzas I ordered were over sauced to the point where the cheese would just slide right off with your first bite. My favorite dish chicken franchise showed up burned on one side normal on the other side and the side salad wasn’t fresh but wilted. I figured they hired a new cook and they were just getting used to the menu and would figure things out. So my next order I asked the girl who answered the phone if they hired a new Pizza chef and she said no but is there a problem so I explain to her what has been going on and she told me I should’ve called and inform them so they knew about the problem. I told her I really don’t like complaining about the person making my food so I asked her to tell the chef not to oversauce the pie. She told me if it happens again please call. So last night we ordered a meatball pie after my first bite. I could tell that it was burned from the charcoal taste. When I flipped the pie over it was burned. Reluctantly, I decided to do what I never do and I called to tell them that the pie was burned and I would like another one. The girl puts me on hold and says she has to talk to her manager. The manager or whoever he is gets on the phone with me and tells me that he’s the one who made the pie and it is perfect. At this point, I’m angry and I have to inform him that I am the customer and I am not happy with the pizza. He responded to me attitude that I will make you another one, but I want the other one back. As if was trying to pull one over on him that’s not the type of place I want to deal with say goodbye to my $300 to 400 worth of takeout orders every month I’ll find a new pizzeria. Such a shame because it used to my...
Read moreI have tried to order pizza from this place twice and yet not gotten a pizza for pickup or delivery. I called to place an order for delivery this time and after a long debate between several employees if they deliver to my house 10 minutes away they finally said yes. I would’ve just gone and picked it up if they said no but as the girl asked for my order one of the employees in the background said “just tell the guy we’ll only deliver if the order is 35 bucks or more” which all the employees proceeded to laugh in the background at. After the employee told the girl to lie to me about the delivery minimum I simply just told her I’ll just order from some place else. My order would’ve been well over 50 dollar’s but the incompetence and complete disrespect for service standards just lead me back to Franks again. Considering employees can even make a joke like that shows there’s no customers in that building and based on several of the reviews I have now read I can see why. The first time I called this place I went to pick up the order I placed and they said they never received it and must’ve called the wrong restaurant. I proceeded to call the place on my way out from the number I dialed in my phone previously and then watched and listened to the guy answer the phone. Not sure why this place constantly lies to customers due to their own incompetence but it’s embarrassing a restaurant like this is allowed to cater to the good people on the lake. Figured a year later they might’ve improved but apparently not. Just tired of the same ole pizza our family and friends usually get so instead we tried a new place. We now remember why we settled on Franks to begin with. The girl who answered the phone just seemed new and even questioned the guy dictating delivery minimums as he saw fit....
Read moreThe pizza was good but the service was really disappointing. We ordered over the phone and picked it up ourselves so we didn't choose to tip. However, we did add to the tip jar in cash anyways to be nice - we didn't have to do this, we already paid for the pizza itself and it's not like they were delivering it for us or like we were dining in. And the cashier turned to his coworker and said "here's your tip," to which she replied "how rude," directly in front of us as if we suddenly could not hear anything. I understand people have hard days but we were also having one, yet we chose to be kind. I also get that staff is often underpaid but again, they did no extra service to us: we weren't going to pay extra for something we didn't receive... to me that's just common sense. Even if the food was good, it was not worth the attitude and entitlement we...
