I was a little leery entering the bar. It was our first time there and it’s hidden towards the back of the strip. We went in around 5:30-6 and it was slow. There were a few people sitting at the bar, I suspect they were regulars, that stared at us as we took our seats. We waited about five minutes before being greeted by our waitress.

Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive throughout our visit. She seemed to be the only one servicing the floor, but she did a great job managing all the tables.

Our appetizer and meal came out timely and cooked to order. I really liked the fried pickles, which were fried in thin slices rather than in spears or chips like you would normally see at restaurants. They were the perfect amount of crispy and juicy. Even though it wasn’t on the menu, I was able to order a Caesar salad with my meal. It was very basic, with just the lettuce, parmesan cheese, and a packet of Ken’s caesar dressing, but I was happy to have the option. The ribeye was cooked to order and the baked potato, which came with a side of sour cream and melted butter, remained steaming hot throughout the meal. The potato didn’t come with cheddar cheese, but my husband requested it and the waitress happily submitted it with the order.

The food altogether was about average, but considering the establishment was more of a bar vibe than a restaurant, I was pleased with our experience. The atmosphere, aside from the staring folks, was nice. They had two pool tables, a touchscreen music machine to request songs, and two televisions at both ends of the space. Music was a little loud at times but didn’t disrupt our conversation. It was another military style establishment, decked out with gear, patches, and more.

I’m not sure if we’d go back again as our first choice for a meal, but I’d definitely like to go back later in the evening for drinks. If we do, I’ll...

My nephews and I like to play pool around the area. With gas prices gouging our financial resources, we needed somewhere close to home. So you completely understand, we are the same group who travel a couple of hours to try new places. It has been a couple of years since my last visit. A LOT different. Went on a Tuesday night. Trivia? Oh yeah! My apologies because I am an avid fan of yelling out answers to Jeopardy contestants on television. Going to therapy to get that errant behavior under control. Nephew won a prize. Oh happy me. Activity that I do not need to be involved in. After a certain age I have no need to climb anything except up and out of bed. They got rock climbing pass and were so thrilled that they threatened to drag me down here again on another Tuesday. Now for the patient people who want to know why I have not been here in a couple of years. I do not drink too often but have been in the habit of drinking what I call fancy mixes. Those couple of years ago I ordered a drink that did not look or taste like what I ordered. I was done. No complaints. Just goodbye. Today is a different experience. If invited to return there will be no need for arm twisting or veiled threats. Even if asked to drive. I did notice that those who ordered food were not leaving anything edible on their plates. Usually that is a good sign if you are someplace where the food has to be paid for. Conclusions? Enjoyed myself....

Wish I could do negative stars! After waiting 10 minutes just to get a menu then had to wait 10 more minutes to order drinks. The place was not full or crowded then waited over an hour and 15 minutes to get our food delivered to the table. So almost 2 hours just to get food and bad drinks. They were out of several drink mixes I tried to order. Also the food ordered was not what we got. I asked for no cheese I got cheese I paid 7 dollars for a drink that was suggested after trying to get 3 other kind of drinks they didn't have the ingredients for and I couldn't drink it. WAY to much alcohol in it. Please do not waste you're time or you're money here. I brought my family because they love Bar Rescue and wanted to see it and now I don't think we'll EVER visit another Bar Rescue Bar. In 2 hours our drinks were messed up, our food order was messed up and cold, and we had to go to the bar section just to get our check. Again the place was crowded and there were at least 2 waitresses but i think 3 and the kitchen was VERY slow at getting food out. I spent over 100 dollars and was hoping to enjoy and go back many times instead I wish I could get my money back since the only good thing was the Dr. Pepper and cup of water. So again DONT GO!!! DONT WASTE YOURE MONEY!!! Definitely don't waste you're time like I stupidly did. The waitresses was nice when we saw her but had to visit the bar to get...

We live in the area but had never been here. We stopped in for dinner around 6pm. Overall the restaurant was typical bar vibe. They have billards table karaoke and a machine to play music. Most of there sitting is hightop tables. Our waitress was decent. I think it was just her and the bartender working the floor. We waited a little for our app. We got the beer cheese bread bowl. It was delicious! I got the meat pizza. I wasnt a huge fan, I can say i tried it but probably wouldnt get it again. My husband got the cheeseburger with bacon. He ate most of his and said it was okay. Overall nothing over the top happened. We would consider going again, but not our first pick of places.

Tip: if your item comes with a dipping sauce, ask for TWO extra. Portions are large and require extra sauces. Dessert- the sweet potatoe cheesecake was perfect. I ordered this first before appetizer. Appetizer- ordered the Philly roll and was served hot. Although it came with cheesy dip, it tasted a bit better with ranch dressing. Note - if you like your ranch "runny" then this is a great place. Dinner - I ordered the cheeseburger with fries. Fries were crispy and fresh. Cheeseburger was not served medium, as requested, but tasted good. My queen ordered the Mix N Grits. Large portion with enough for leftovers the next day.
