Where should I began! This was the worst place that I could have ever gone in my entire life! LITERALLY😡😡😡😡 My daughter and her boyfriend booked this venue months in advance for her very first baby shower which was supposed to been the perfect day filled with joy and excitement!!!!! Instead it was a complete nightmare!!!!! When my daughter them arrived at the place they noticed a band was there doing sound checks. Everyone was sitting there wandering what was going on and why those people were there interrupting the baby shower. The lady owner didn’t have any remorse for my daughter and didn’t ask them to leave. So me as the mom was the host and I’m trying to talk over them and the owner finally came out and I told her to ask them to stop so we could continue our engagement of games. She presumed to tell me that she thought they would be finished with the sound check before our baby shower started at 1:30. I was telling her that was not right that they was there but she was trying to cover up and saying that she paid $8000 and they had to finish before 6. That wasn’t our problem and mind you my daughter them paid $950 which suppose to include the building, brunch food and decorations. The food was cold and waffles hard as a brick, no drink was provided and the decorations was terrible!!!!! No banner was presented, the table of a few treats wasn’t nothing to brag about and the center pieces was horrible. They had a tacky tablecloth thrown over a used picture frame as a backdrop with a poster size picture which was the so called banner!!!! As I was talking to her I told her that wasn’t right how they were conducting business and it was the principle of how they was handling the situation. She got an attitude with me and said we could not get our money back and I told her that was not right and my daughter deserved her money back for that. She got mad and stormed away from our conversation and said y’all got to be gone by 4 pm. This is when things begin to get out of hand and one of the workers from the kitchen was telling us we wasn’t getting money back and we told them repeatedly that’s not right but they never wanted to hear our concerns and even the owner husband didn’t have no remorse either. The loud mouth girl from kitchen got hostile towards me when I told her they wad wrong how they did my daughter baby shower and said she would hit me and then the husband intervened and tried to break it up and the loud mouth girl went back in the kitchen still talking smart mouth. It was embarrassing and just horrible for this to spoil my daughter baby shower!!She was so upset and they never did serve everyone their food because we spent so much time going back and forth arguing. They all knew they were wrong that’s why they didn’t even attempt to call the police at all!!!! The husband claimed that he would work something out with my daughter them and said for them to come back later but he would never answer his phone until this day. If I could give 0 stars , I would. My friend booked for her very first baby shower, which turned out to be a day she would never forget .... in the worst way. She booked months in advanced and on the day of the owners' wife stated that a band booked last minute and they paid 8k and they were more important that her baby shower. She allowed them to do sound checks throughout our time, which disturbed us from enjoying the experience and each other's company. She stated that we had to leave by 4p, because they had to go home and get ready, which was crazy because they served our food late.... it was hard.... cold and they did not serve drinks. Attended a baby shower for my very first grandchild. There was a whole blues band doing sound check while the hostess, also a grandmother, was trying to host the shower. When she asked the staff to have them stop, they became hostile. The owner pointed her finger in her face and another employee threatened her. All this because she asked them to honor their obligation. The food was thrown together. The waffle was hard as a brick. I overheard the owner say she paid the blues band $8000 to come perform and that everyone at the baby shower would get out before she would tell them to stop their sound check. So because you paid a performer money, you don’t have to honor your business obligation to someone who has paid you also. I would give them a zero if I could. I would not recommend this place for a venue...
