CRAB-ISLAND SEAFOOD -BULL FROG CORNER — Restaurant in Horn Lake

Arrived on a Saturday night around 6:30pm. Was shocked there was no line and there usually is because the food is really good.

Ordered two #1’s. Total came out to be $85.50 with tax.

Pulled up to the window and saw there was a completely different crew. No biggie, food places tend to have high turnover rates.

Got home and the food was literally swimming in butter w/no seasoning. No jokes. I could tell that it was boiled in water only and just thrown in a pan with a lot of melted butter and a little parsley sprinkled across the top.

I called the store to complain and attempt to get it redone (I was going to bring it back) but no one answered the phone. I let it ring for as long as I could.

But this is horrible, especially for...

Service was amazing. However, my food was horrible. I ordered the fried shrimp and fries meal with a coke. The breading on the shrimp was pretty much off of every piece of shrimp. And to top it all of, the entire meal wasn’t seasoned (fries included). It’s as if they didn’t used any salt at all. I don’t like overly seasoned food…so for me to say the food lacked seasoning is huge. I hate that I didn’t try it until I got home. I ate one piece and then another thinking it was just that one. After getting the same bland and mushy taste, I threw the entire box in the trash. $20 wasted. I definitely won’t be coming...

My friend & I eat here often the food is awesome, Teresa is great ,she definitely take care of customers, it was only once our crab boil taste like water, no seasoning, potatoes undercooked, n about 6 sausage, 4 shrimps & notices it was a different cook,went back over a month later and we told Teresa about our experience and@ tht time said it was her manager who had cook the food (who is white also)Teresa assured us this time the food would be better and she definitely didn't disappoint us.Thank you Teresa & Jennifer, we definitely will keep coming back .CrabIsland is the seafood...
