Golden Great Wall Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Horsham Township

This place is a horror show more horrific than anything you will see in a movie. I had eaten here on several occasions and was always very happy with the food and the customer service until we decided to stop by one night for dinner. As before the greeting was warm and welcoming, waitress was very nice and worked quickly. Out comes the food and to our shock we got some added extras we didnt expect, several clumps off hair and I prayed to God that it was human. Waitress was informed and she for some bizarre reason though this was funny. She took the contaminated food away and asked if we wanted something else at which point several people had no desire to eat anything. Those off us who were able to eat what we thought was uncontaminated food continued and while eating I felt something hard, and upon looking at it found a small piece off metal. We all looked through our food and found several more pieces off the metal in our meals. The waitress was informed and promptly got the manager who again looked and reacted like it was no big deal and offered to replace the food to which everyone declined. She quickly disappeared and after waiting for her to return I ventured toward the kitchen where she had went and what I say was beyond disgusting. It was the filthiest kitchen I had ever seen and I have seen some real dumps. I was quickly moved away when they saw me and when I asked for an explanation for the metal in our food she said it was just pieces off metal of the things they use to scrub the pots, pans and dishes which she seemed to think was acceptable. She then made things worse by handing me the bill for the entire meal minus one dish. So take this as a warning, eat somewhere where the kitchen is clean unless you want metal and hair...

On 11/8 fri I ordered the ‘shrimp with garlic sauce’ total was almost $20 I went to pick it up and went home in upper Darby I opened the container and started eating than I feel something wasn’t right so I pulled it out and I saw it was ‘ LONG hair’ It was NOT my hair for sure because I have really short hair. Long story short so I called the store right away and told them about it BUT this lady(she said she’s owner) called me and also texted me saying it’s NOT their hair and she was started accusing me like if it was my fault And she also said’ we had lots of customers call in for ask FREE foods too!!! All she had to do was Apologize to me I didn’t ask her about the money back I would’ve give them ‘-10 stars ‘ if there was one Available! There’s LOTS of other ‘Chinese restaurants’ near them I STRONGLY suggest other people don’t...

Update: while I had one bad experience my boyfriend loves the food so we've continued to dine. I must say eva has more then made up for the error. The kind family like service we now receive keeps up coming back again and again! The food really is the best in the area! Eva and Edison go above and beyond. Favorite dishes are the fried dumplings which have a nice thin dumpling (not chewy doughy like other places) Walnut shrimp, kung pow shrimp and pad thia! Donuts are a great sweet warm dessert.

Thanks so much for my dinner I ordered at 830. Oh wait you never brought it. And even though your open till 10 you weren't answering the phone by 940 and when I drove over at 955 you were gone.
