Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Horsham Township

Horrible experience!!! I went on Monday later afternoon and purchased a giant club for $17 and change. The size of a regular hoagie that typically cost $9-$11. The gentleman I believed to have been the manager, first tried to give me the bread that was open and sitting out. I explained to him that I was uncomfortable with the bread sitting out due to being hard, so he went in back and got another roll. As he started making my sandwich, he had to turn steak over for other employee since he was on telephone. Once he returned back, he had grease all over his gloves and cheese he bought back with him. I once again said I was not comfortable having my sandwich prepared like that. He went back and got another roll and took a little longer to come back. The sandwich was prepared sloppy, as well as the the counter they prepare hoagies on. What was most frightening was after I returned home and 20 minutes after eating a part of sandwich, I began coughing hysterically due to throat feeling gritty. I had to drink a bottle of water and gargle. I'm still wondering did employee put something on roll or his gloves because he was angry. I was too frightened to eat anymore. Me and my sister wanted to get a quick bite after both working all day. We go to this Jersey Mike’s Location at around 8:10pm, knowing they close at 9. Despite it being later in the day and we were the only customers in there, they were very friendly and accommodating. We also ate inside and they did not rush us to close the restaurant. The friendly cashier asked us about our days and what he could help us with. We made a couple of special requests in our order, and he did them all happily. The man working on the grill also was very polite and asking us how we were. The food was cooked to perfection and super fresh. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. I just went there today for some time in a while I ordered the pastrami sandwich not the Chipotle the regular one and I've never had lettuce on a pastrami sandwich in my life so I'm not quite sure what's going on but I ordered it without bread and they ordered Giants so I got two of them $21 but never in pastrami sandwich usually a Swiss cheese bread grilled pastrami that I've been executive chef for 40 years and I've never seen this so I'm definitely not happy about it I
