Buona Via Ristorante — Restaurant in Horsham Township

I was so excited to eat here since everytime I’ve driven past in the last 2 years since moving here the parking lot was always packed! I was so let down tonight finally trying this place for the first time.

Food was mediocre. Portions were small.

What really drove this 2 star review was the service. I’ve never had more annoying service at any restaurant. When you take 1 sip of water, someone is coming over to refill it. There was someone at our table every 30 seconds and not in a good way. The fact that all of these people were constantly reaching over me in front of my face really made me want to grab their arm and bend it the other way. If you’re close to being done any food, they stand there next to you and hover to take it away, again reaching right over your face. Sometimes our food wasn’t even finished before they were about to take it away. If a wait staff member wasn’t at our table being intrusive, they were standing 4 feet away watching us our entire meal.

I took the rest of my food to go because I was so annoyed. A wait staff member should NEVER reach in front of a guest, especially in front of their face.

After we finally were done with food, a female came with a large dessert tray, set it down in front of me and told me to pick one. Already plated desserts, no menu, unknown prices, unknown ingredients. Super weird to me.

I don’t want a reply from the owner saying they’re sorry for the dissatisfaction and to give them a chance to make it a 5 star experience. Train your staff properly and make people...

I want to first say I have been in the restaurant business for over 35 years. I have never been treated so bad at a restaurant before. This is my first review that I have ever done. The waiter came to are table never greeted us never even said Hello, would you like something to drink. It felt like we were annoying him. The calamari was supposed to be crispy. I expected it to be breaded. My brother got a filet it was supposed to be med it was rare. We told the waiter he didn't want it. He really looked like he was so annoyed. I got the Fettuccine Primavera it was not good. I didn't eat it. There was hardly any pasta. It looked like soup. I wasn't going to say anything because of the filet. Then my niece who actually liked her Lobster Ravioli finds a hair in it as she's almost done. I told the waiter and he started yelling at us. Like it was are fault and we came out purposely to complain. I usually never complain. I just don't go back. He said it was on the house. I guess so we didn't eat anything. So very disappointed. It was my niece's birthday dinner. I probably would have let it all go, but that waiter was the worst!!!! He needs a lesson in how to treat people, especially if he wants to get a tip. I know the customer isn't always right but that experience was ridiculous. I give it a 5 star for the food and the potential. My service by the bartender and then waitress wearing 2 hats waiting on us had never returned as she was then bartending . It took away from our service. The bill was 200.00 between bar for 2 people and dinner w no appetizers.

When we were seated the waitress never returned. We had our order taken by a kind young man trainee. But had a wine chosen to purchase w our dinner.

No one came back to even ask and then our dinner was served.

Worse I had to summon the bus girl to ask her to give me details on the meals we had ordered....as far as what does this meal include. Bartender hurried back and quickly said mash potatoes and vegetable. I said fine but she rushed off and never could order a pasta side for my guest who was celebrating.

We again asked assistant waiter if we could order wine way after food came and also please give me mashed potatoes I ordered an hour ago.

The potatoes never came at all

It was as if when we came the restaurant monitored when and what we would have.

I was designated driver not that the person who was w me and I was celebrating was any way intoxicated but I just felt after 200.00 and good tip we would have had a waiter at our table or darn at least mashed potatoes I ordered or...
