Cover charge is outrageous!!! $20 per person no band?? And it was dead in there !! Unless it changes I won't go back. I could have went to a bar without having to spend $20 to get into the door. I've been to a lot of bars in the area and $10 is the cover usually with a live band !!! Not a karaoke dj. Big chill will get my business from now on.

Thanks for your quick response "owner" but to charge more for a cover the later it gets and after everything else closes is ridiculous! Sounds like your all about the $$ and who cares about the actual customers, if yall had a band I could see a 10$ maybe $20 cover charge if they were good but to charge $20 because someone gets there after everything else closes is flat out stupidity and business suicide! Because from what I heard the big chill had yall dead cause everyone was there lol !!! You should really think about what a paying customer is telling you another business suicide is not listening to your customer because there were like 10 other people in that bar who felt the same infact a guy was drinking water out of yalls water dispenser because he couldn't afford a drink or a beer after the $20 cover its sad. So I bought the guy a drink on me. I make more money then your measealy bar will ever see in one year in one day please take my advice. Upcharging the cover after everything closes is why no one was in your bar when I was there. If I could give it 0 I would. We decided to drop in to take a break from the casino. The drinks were just as expensive as they were at the track and definitely nothing to “write home about.” They we’re doing karaoke but the sound system was horrible and you could tell there was a lag between the cued lyrics on the screen and the song so it sounded horrible. The worst part of it all was the owner. It was dead because we were there early in the evening and our party of 8 was the largest there. Apparently you’re suppose to wear a mask anytime you get up from the table. We were told we had to wear our masks when playing pool when we first got there, that’s it. Later the owner came up to me at the bar and told me I had to have a mask on, so I went back to my table and got one. There were people all through the bar not wearing masks. About 20 mins later the owner came over to the table (NOT WEARING A MASK....) and proceeded to yell at us about having a mask if we go up from the table. Ughhh we just laughed at him in left. Definitely reporting it to the health department for that one. You can pick and choose who you enforce “rules”...

My husband and I came to Hot Springs just for a weekend getaway. We went to Magic Springs that afternoon, saw Tesla in concert that night and didn’t want the fun to stop so we decided to go to Boogies since it was close to our hotel. From the time we stepped in till the time we left several hours later we had a blast! The employees were so friendly, the bartender not sure of his name but he had a light up name tag which was cool, made the best drinks and his bar knowledge was outstanding! The DJ was great the food was good! And we played pool for hours with some local folks and made some new friends!!! We danced! There was a live band which was great! There was Karaoke! The restrooms were clean and stocked. Parking was great, we had an amazing time and will be back as this is a new favorite place to be!!
