Hot Springs Mountain Pagoda — Attraction in Hot Springs

Driving up to the observation tower was a nice scenic route. There is a walking path for those who are more adventurous 🙃 You enter through a little gift shop, which has quite a few cute things to look at. I took the elevator to the 1st of 2 observation decks. I would recommend starting on it as it is an information section running 360 degrees around the tower. Once I had walked through and read the history, as well as where things we situated, I went up onto the second observation deck. There are warnings about wasps. However, we did not see any while at the top. The view from the too is amazing. It is unrestricted and you can see the town and more. Gorgeous view of the city & surrounding hills. Yes it is free, but you don't get the 360° view, as you do in the Tower, nor do you get the history lesson available on every wall in the Tower. However, this would be the perfect spot to propose marriage! Just be prepared for sharp turns on the ride up the mountain....

Beautiful place to visit. You can drive all the way to this place and even higher than that. You have the full scenic view of the town and woods around you. You can sit down and take couple of pictures with view or the road. The road is also nice...
